now you have went and done it

haha i know you love your juice. Dont get me wrong, he is a great FB. i use the bust label in terms of what we paid for him and expected out of him. Same goes for a 1st round pick who you are expecting to be elite and they turn out to be just...good.

Yeah, he can run, catch, and all that but he isnt the only FB that can do all those things...granted alot of them cant. Its just that after shelling out all that money, i would expect him to provide more of a difference making element and not fumble the ball

I should look back to the beginning of this thread to see if someone set up realistic expectations.

I try not to get too caught up in contracts commensurate production because the market sets the contract and in Juice's case, he had a lot of bidders that kept driving up the price. If we wanted him, we had to "overpay"
I think when Lynch called him an "offensive weapon", that unfairly set expectations. He's still a FB and FBs aren't going to be a featured component of an offensive gameplan. He might have an explosive play here and there, which makes him a unique FB, but he will most likely never live up to his contract. Especially since he's not being used as a 3rd down back, which is when he got a lot of his production stats (catches) as a Raven.

Good call...looks like he averaged 24 catches a year for 192 yards. He's got 14 now for 112 yards and missed some time. So he's doing what he's always done.

It looks like Kyle used him more extensively last game. I expect that role to expand more over time as an offensive weapon but probably not to a level any fan would be able to justify a big contract.

Kyle Juszczyk has 97 catches for 769 yards and 5 TDs in four seasons in Baltimore. Safe to expect Kyle Shanahan to use him in many ways.

I still think we have to slow our roll on this whole bust label. Let's see where we are with him next year at this time. This whole season has been an injury plagued offensive install. I'm not holding anything against any skill position until I see them continually fail with a settled QB position. Until then it's unfair and leads to premature declarations.

Juice blocks well, can catch and looks faster than most FB. I'm not gonna kill the guy for his contract and a couple of fumbles in a total rebuild offensive install season with a QB position in much flux.

Wait till the passing game takes off next year to open up the under neath.

Surprised he didn't fumble on that one.

Dude, he has 5 fumbles in his career and had went 3 full seasons without one. He's fine.

Yeah, I wonder with BeatHard becoming more proficient with each game, it also increased Juice's number called more last game.

Bruh we vastly overpaid for him. Having to pay a bit more is one thing but we totally reset the price of fbs in the league.

Dude, he has 5 fumbles in his career and had went 3 full seasons without one. He's fine.

His analysis of this full blown rebuild pretty much says 2+2=5 so it's not a stretch to say 2 is 5. Why do I say that? Because obvious factors are constantly ignored by "Susweel".

Back in reality. We haven't been able to open up the passing game for a few games this year. Pass rushers have been in the QB's face within 1 second. Many of the sacks and throw aways probably would've been quick passes to Juice and RB's. A "longer" developing play ten yards out? Forget about it.

Anyhow, he's a fullback that can generate offensive production in the passing game outside of blocking. Even in a good year with Shanahan (when we have a QB and blocking) I wouldn't expect him to rack up any more than 350 yards receiving.

The great thing about a guy like Juice is, especially with an offense that's working well, defenses will have to account for him and if they don't they'll pay. So he brings things to the table even without the ball in his hands. Some of the production we do have this year can be can be attributed to his blocking and the fact he'll open up some space for WR's on passing plays.

People just need to be patient and wait till we get this offense going. There's a TOTAL lack of patience with the extremely negative posers here. Others may have been expecting #3 WR like production but again, too many games this year the offense has been in panic mode because of a leaky o-line.

Didn't know much about him until he came here but he's had a couple of really nice catches downfield this year. I can easily see that tuning into something that can be utilized when the O-line issues get cleaned up a bit more. I really like what I am seeing out of Shanahan's schemes. Get the QB situation squared away, get a legit #1 receiver and look out these guys could really start putting up points.

His ass is a liability. It's inexcusable to have him fumble often.
I'm not worried about Juszczyk, he's going to be fine, this has been an odd season, so many injuries, been in 5 of our losses till the end.

as long as he doesn't touch the ball. Let him block.
