This man is exceptional, and worth every cent in our scheme.
Agree
Definitely. And, I'll go one step further, with Jimmy G, I think he'd be featured a lot more. Love him.

I agree....Juice is a 50-60 catch guy with Jimmy at QB.

Plus he can really block for our run game.

Surprise, surprise, Juice is exactly who most of us thought he was.
The usual suspects are left with doo doo on their face.

I'd love to see Lynch get him a new deal, extension, lock him up longer, clearly not just a FB or ordinary FB.

I've found the play to check out, 4th Qtr 10:55 on the clock, crazy pass protection against Mack, this is just not normal, Juice has everything you could ask for in a FB.

Cheers, if you want to see what a play is supposed to look like when a Non OL takes on Mack, look at Kittle's attempt 3rd Qtr 12:46 left.

Definitely a play maker and I really thought he was going to be a high catch guy. Even when Jimmy returns, I don't think that's happening, but for good reason. But I think it's going to be because we have so many guys that can make plays. Kittle is legit. Goodwin hopefully returns to form next year. Pettis is emerging. We shall see what McKinnon can do. Juice definitely has a role, but I just don't see how he can get that many catches in this offense. Now when we play teams that have linebackers that are poor in coverage, I'd love to see an 8 to 10 catch game. All in all, I'm satisfied with his play and feel he could be used a lot more in this offense.

Juice making a truly boneheaded move leading to that fumble. I hope the coaching staff lays into him hard about that one.

I looked up Tom Rathman's stats as someone to compare to. Rathman only caught 320 passes in some nine years in the NFL. I thought it would have been more. But the Niners in his day also had lots of weapons. I think Shanahan will use Juice much more in the passing game then Walsh used Rathman.

The dude Juice trucked and knocked out of the game was the same guy that knocked out Marquise Goodwin a season ago.

Rathman was usually a 35-45 catch a year guy with the exception of 1989. He caught over 70 that year. We had a lot of weapons and usually threw the a little more than 500 times most years (1990 was kinda an outlier at over 575 times).

Juice's weakness seems to be as a runner, his raging bull knockout of the Rams' DB notwithstanding. Shanahan has rarely used him to run even short yardage plays.
