Paulsen is a perfect fit as a #3 blocking TE.

Right so then 2 out of McDonald, Celek, Kittle, and Hikutini will have to be cut most likely.

Going to be a tough decision
He can play the Slot position too.

I see this guy and Hikutini pushing Celek and Bell off the roster. McDonald, Kittle, Hikutini as the 3 TEs, with Jusczcyk spending some time there as well.

Celek was Hoyer's teammate in college and should mesh well. I don't see Celek being cut anytime soon, unless constantly injured.

I think McDonald gets cut
They were willing to trade him. We took a few TE's and Vance is always injured.
I know Balkke signed him to an extension but we have the money to cut him and see if the guys shanny picked fit better into his system.

I think they were/are looking to upgrade... he's definitely not getting cut IMO, I could see him being trade at any time or he has a good season and we re-visit next year.

Yeah I don't see him being cut either. Traded or kept is the only option I see. He is an upward trending player who boasts the athleticism to flourish in this system. He and Kittle would both be highly athletic TEs who can also block well. Hikutini is a long shot unless someone gets hurt, I'd think.

I'd love to do a package deal for Gordon/Watkins. I think Vance,Kerley,Malcolm Smith(Foster&Ray-Ray),Reid are all expendable.

I'd agree about the upward trend if he could stay on the field. I understand injuries are a part of the game but, you can't be productive sitting on IR. One of these other guys might not be as developed yet, but if they can get thru even 14~15 games, that would be great and would probably end up with better production, more yards, more TD's then Vance due to playing more games.
Kittle is a stud. Super value in the 5th. His numbers would have been better had it not been for Iowa's atrocious wr corps. Kittle could be game planned bc our WRS were non existent.

And he was hurt a bit wasn't he?
Watching him run, call me crazy, but man, he really reminds me of Brent Jones...like a faster, more athletic version. He even runs a bit like him.

LMAO...I bet Kyle saw him running and said, "That's our guy! Hey dad, I found our Brent Jones!"

He is a lot like Brent Jones to me. A big bodied Wide Receiver.
