Vance will be the odd man out.

Explain? It's gonna cost us 3 million MORE to cut him vs keeping him on the team for this yr to see what he can do.

If he sucks dick then cut/trade him next yr when the price makes sense....NE gave up a 4th rd pick for Dwayne Allen who's contract is no joke and hasn't done jack s**t with Andrew luck throwing him the ball.

We won't cut him. That wouldn't make sense with what Balkke gave him for a contract.
When I said odd man out, I was thinking regarding playing time.

With all the games he misses due to injury, I don't see him playing much this year.
Hopefully it won't cost much if we cut him next year.

Hey, I hope he performs and tears it up this year.

I want a repeat of our 2011 year, even though I know that is way to much to ask for.

Allen hasn't done ish LATELY... and like you said Pats gave a fourth based on rookie year potential which is a lil nuts but BB gambled.

Vance is the opposite. He started out first two years not doing ish, but he's been slowly but surely transcending. And for the first time in his life, he's in his prime and will be in the best system he's been in yet.

In one more season, Allen has twice the receptions, yards & three times the TDs

He's improved every yr he's been in the league...I agree injuries have been his bugaboo. If anyone is on the outside looking in imo it's bell.

And had Andrew luck throwing him the ball....not the Blaine train or kap. He also started as a rookie cause he wasn't playing behind a guy like Davis.

Indy was a pass fist team and we've been the opposite of that....stats don't tell the whole truth you should know this

He also split time with Coby Fleener early on, and never was a go-to guy for luck. They have a lot more talent at wide receiver to soak up those targets. Vance has had a chance to be the man for a couple seasons and at least has improved steadily.

Just saying Dwayne Allen has been much better than Vance.
I hope they call him Hands of Glue by the end of the season.

We can agree to disagree. Allen also had better overall surrounding personnel, played in a weaker division and conference.

Moving on from Allen...
Point was Vance has value, me and NY are in the party of this is the best situation, position and system he's been in thus far and we'd like to see what we can do before trading for something less than 3rd/4th. We're also in the party of being intrigued of a 2 TE base package of Vance and Kittle.

For those in the party he's hit his ceiling of production and want him gone...fine, but you can't deny it's smarter to build his value up some by showcasing him to get max value in return.
Yes SC, build that value before you cash him in so we get more in the draft than we would have.

Nope, even if he was "splitting" time with fleener he still received more targets than Vance ever did. Kinda hard to make plays when you don't get your name called, especially his first two yrs in the league. Indy also had cud as their OC the past couple yrs who's all about passing the ball to the TEs.

Indy has also been in the top end of the league in pass attempts since he's been there, SF has been at the bottom. Allen has also been injury prone as well, plus had playmakers around him to actually help him get open...Vance as not.

Allen might be a little better but not much better at all...just saying.

This...people are full of s**t if they honestly don't think Vance would be better with a true offensive system and real QB throwing him the ball. Put him in Pitt or NE and he'll be more productive without question. Why not play him this yr and try and trade him? Allen had 400 yards this yr as the main man in Indy and they got a 4th for him with his sizable contract.

Think people, think.

The hate for AA, Vance and Hyde is unreal in NT. "Thinking" objectively clearly isn't a factor here for some.
