Maybe, but that's basically choosing to forfeit the Monday night game to the Seahawks. We're not going to beat them without Kittle. He's too important to our offense.

Dwelley isn't going to break off a lot of YAC but he can be a 3rd down machine

This, especially vs the Seahawks whose defense is nowhere near as dominant as it used to be.

Except "one TE" does make this offense. Key block after key block in the run game. Critical catches on 3rd down Time after time, game after game. Losing Kittle on offense would be worse than any other player with the exception of Jimmy.

I'm not saying that we'd be shutout or score only 10 points a game without Kittle, but we're not going to keep up with a top offense like Seattle without him.

It's absolutely unbounded arrogance by our fans to think it won't cost us to rest arguably our best player against the first good team we've played this season.

I don't think Kittle sits out this game at all.
He's banged up but if he was able to play in That Cards game, he'll play this game.

Ummm we are a top offense until we aren't.
Game hasn't been played.

You've done this same s**t when Staley went down, and then when juice was out constantly saying we won't be able to run the ball..

I mean... how about let the game be played instead of constantly looking like an idiot with these predictions?

I guess you've done this s**t since the draft, calling Bosa injury prone, and he's a bad teammate & constant other b******t so you won't back off on this s**t I can see.

I asked you before, what is your favorite nfl team?? You know, which team do you cheer for to win on game day?? You've never answered it.. why?

I think we can get the job done without Kittle, but it would be a heck of a lot easier if he played.
Kittle is playing. It's a bit of Belichick posturing to keep the opponent guessing and wishing. Our Drs are so conservative now if he was going to be out it would have been called already. When Kittle shows doubtful I wonder if it changes the betting line at all ?

I think Dwelley will get the job done, if George can't go.

Except we did get significantly worse on offense and at running the ball when those guys went out. We dropped from over 5 YPC when Juice/McGlinchey were healthy to 3.8 YPC, which is near the bottom of the league. We also dropped from around the #5 offense in DVOA to #12 and #14 in yards per play. Those injuries absolutely hurt our offense. Thank goodness they occurred during the easy part of our schedule and we're getting those guys back now. We still need Kittle to be a top offense.
