I think he will gut it out even if he has to be mainly a decoy
We can win without kittle.

We'd just win by a lot more with kittle playing.

We can win - it would just be alot easier if he was playing.

Maybe, but that's basically choosing to forfeit the Monday night game to the Seahawks. We're not going to beat them without Kittle. He's too important to our offense.

one TE doesn't make this offense....

Except "one TE" does make this offense. Key block after key block in the run game. Critical catches on 3rd down Time after time, game after game. Losing Kittle on offense would be worse than any other player with the exception of Jimmy.

I'm not saying that we'd be shutout or score only 10 points a game without Kittle, but we're not going to keep up with a top offense like Seattle without him.

*****It's absolutely unbounded arrogance by our fans to think it won't cost us to rest arguably our best player against the first good team we've played this season.*******

Our run game and defense have won 7 of the 8 games. Kittle is amazing, receiving and blocking, a true all pro. That said, we are getting Juice and Staley back. If Kittle does miss this game, it will suck but it doesn't make it an instant loss. I hope he plays because it does improve our odds but if he doesn't, I think we can still dominate the Seahawks if our defense can hold up.

Good offense? Wait. I though we played Seattle.

I mean c'mon now... get a couple facts strait when you post s**t

We're not a top offense without Kittle.

Don't agree. With Juszczyk back, I think Shanahan can deal with it. Dwelley has been looking pretty good and Sanders will be Jimmy's go to guy. And if Staley is back and in reasonable knick, we should look pretty good.

Not that I am not worried about the game, though.

I'll use the 49ers vs Jags in 2017 as an example. I would say that defense was on another level compared to this Seattle D and our offensive talent wasn't close to what it is today.

Kittle was a rookie and really didn't do a ton that game (he did score a TD), but wasn't the feature guy like he is now.

Kyle schemed the s**t out of that game. Juice was the MVP (behind JG).

It's not like the Jags didn't score either, they put up 33 pts.

IMO Kittle is gonna play. BUT Sanders has looked lights out as well. I'm not worried about out offense.
George isn't missing this game.

He'll play in a wheelchair if he has to.
He plays, mostly as a decoy but has two big catches. Dwelley has a career game.... 7 catches 82yds and a TD

a decoy would still have to run block and do a bunch of other stuff

Kittle is an important part of the run game though, so when you say that our run game and defense have won 7 of the 8 games (which isn't exactly true, but whatever) Kittle is a part of that.
No way in hell Kittle misses this game
