You should be more concerned about the best player on the team.

if kitttle can not play. thats a problem. i know we have been fine losing two tackles. spoon, and i am sure greenlaw will be ok. but man.. it gets a bit tougher when it comes to guys like alexander and kittle to say.. oh we will be fine

The 49ers may not have a "#1 wide receiver", although we may be able to call Sanders that, but Kittle is no doubt a "#1 receiving option". I'm fine with him sitting this SEA game out if needed, or perhaps play him in a limited role. He's too critical to this offense to push hard and risk some nagging injury becoming something more.

Yeah, I agree - if Kittle is not ready, I have faith in Dwelley coming in and doing the job. I'd rather rest Kittle a game or two, then lose him the rest of the season.

i agree. sure monday is important. but all the time people tell me to think long term.. well if kittle needs to set now. i am fine with it. if we can not beat the hawks without him. then we are not as good as we think

i sure do like ross. it will be harder without kittle but ross is not terrible and we have bigger fish to fry than this game.

Exactly.
I don't feel too worried about Kittle sitting out with Juice coming back. I expect Kyle to have some crazy scheme that Seattle hasn't seen.

Yeah. Juice being back helps and Kyle has been fantastic with adjusting to injuries so far. I'm actually beginning to think he likes the challenge over overcoming a handicap.

Dwelley is decent in the passing game plus Toilolo in the run blocking game. Plus Juice. We might be looking at getting back to rushing close to 40 times (and 200 yards rushing again before all the injuries).
Ya know I really hate hearing shanny/lynch every week talking about all our injuries so freely. There's zero advantage to being so bluntly open about it IMO.

Just say Kittle is day-to-day and leave it at that.

perfect. a good ball control offense keeping wilson off the field while wearing down their defense is perfect to me
I see I got ripped on my concern about Gould and you're all probably right. I just think Kyle has enough in the bag to make up for Kittle being out since he's getting Juice back. I know Gould has had issues but most of them were early when they had snapping and holding issues. I don't know anything about the guy they brought in so I can't have any confidence in him. At least I've seen Gould in clutch situations. Hopefully we score enough against a weak defense and it won't matter. If we are a SB team then we should be able to win this game no matter what.

It's all about mind games. He's trying to psyche the opponents out.

Didn't mean to sound like I was ripping on you, I wasn't. Just when you said you were more concerned about Gould than Kittle...I mean Gould is a kicker, Kittle is an elite badass that never leaves the field.
Someone earlier in the week, before news of Kittle's injury came out, said they had an inside source that told them he's missing the game this week, but had a chance to play next week.

If Kittle is legit in that rough of a condition, I say we let him heal up. I don't want to lose him for any longer.
