With the Seahawks and the revived Rams, 11-5 might miss the playoffs.

You look at the team's schedule, there's still @ Baltimore (almost a guaranteed loss), @ New Orleans (another nearly guaranteed loss), and @ Seattle (you know the deal with this one). Then add in a revived Rams team with Jalen Ramsey, and the Packers...look out.

And if Kittle can't go in this one, who's to say he can even go vs. AZ? There are no guarantees at this point. This team could very easily finish 9-7.

This is probably going to be our biggest game this season and we need to be full strength.

You do realize your analysis is completely based on the worst case scenario For the 9ers vs the best case scenarios for all those other teams.

We'll win with or without Kittle. Their defense is trash
if he truly cannot practice on that knee as of today he should not play monday. even with how important this game is he is our biggest offensive weapon and is much more important than one regular season win. id rather get our first L of the season than lose him for the season. besides we may not even need him against a weaker seattle defense. give celek a chance where tf has he been.

Seattle can not be overlooked, they've had our number since they came to the NFC. Without Kittle, losing that game just became much more likely, still a great chance we don't win the division and playing wildcard weekend on the road

What happened in the past means nothing for the present. Especially when it's a whole new cast of characters.

The present says were 2 games ahead of Seattle, and with us limping into Monday night, we will probably be only 1 game ahead with an entire half of a season still in the works with plenty of tough opponents waiting for the team. Losing this game and ruining an undefeated season up to this point against Seattle would be a gut punch to the team and fanbase

Not according to Duke. LOL

If Kittle misses the game, it sucks , but at the same time I really think the 49ers can beat the Hawks without him, esp. if we get our trio back of Joe/Mike/Juice.

If the Seahawks defense really sucks as people claim, then we should be able to discipline them without Kittle.

I agree with the logic better to lose a battle and win the war than the other way around......but doubt it will get to that.
