so, for the future FQB, Beathard, we drafted a guy who he is familiar. why not!

srsly, according to scouting report, he seems to be a nice pass-catching TE. nice pick and a warning towards Vance, Celek and Bell.
Like the pick. Here's a prospect breakdown from YouTube personality Louie Tee:

Awesome pick

Ran a 4.52 40 at 250 pounds. Very good value at this point in the draft.
4.52 at 250?
what was Vernon's time again at what weight?
best blocking TE in the draft?

He is a willing blocker and flashes good potential. This is a guy that can start day one imo

It's both. He'll block a guy I to the dirt one play, then get turned around the next. If he can stay in front of his guy he can win every time. He just tries to block through guys every time

sorry, you are right.
he is a very good blocker, just his size is perhaps too small for effective in line blocking in the NFL. however, he was a very good blocker in college.
sorry sorry.

reading comprehension died somewhere or never existed
FANTASTIC VALUE pick. Graded Kittle a high 3rd rounder. Kid is a great ahtlete and better blocker than people give him credit for.
