Until he's listed as OUT, it's premature to assume. And I don't know how much worse the team is without him, probably a few points for sure, but the doom and gloom is overkill.

Kittle draws double teams. You really think dwelly toilolo are good tight ends. Seattle has the best lb in the game bobby Wagner. They will just stack the box and force jimmy g to beat them which will be very difficult because sanders is gonna be doubled. Also Samuel and Pettis are inconsistent. Oh well we can make the playoffs as a wildcard team and we'll see what happens. That sucks

LOL Bobby Wagner is definitely not the best LB in football anymore. Hes solid, but no longer elite.

Kittle will likely miss one game, and you've already dismissed our 8-0 season to a wildcard game.

ARE YOU KIDDING? Bobby Wagner is indeed the best linebacker in the game today. Let me know what the score is. I won't be watching.

Good. Don't bother watching or posting the rest of the season. Do everyone else a favor. You clearly haven't been watching at all this year if you think Wagner has been the best LB in the game.

With the Seahawks and the revived Rams, 11-5 might miss the playoffs.

You look at the team's schedule, there's still @ Baltimore (almost a guaranteed loss), @ New Orleans (another nearly guaranteed loss), and @ Seattle (you know the deal with this one). Then add in a revived Rams team with Jalen Ramsey, and the Packers...look out.

And if Kittle can't go in this one, who's to say he can even go vs. AZ? There are no guarantees at this point. This team could very easily finish 9-7.

Honestly, i think your post is way off mark. NOBODY knows the extent of his injury and THAT is the determining factor in whether he plays. Very simple. If he has a damaged ligament whether partially torn or just stretched, and his knee is unstable he should not be playing. Knowing his desire to play, he probably would. If injured tho, we want him healthy and i would hope he sits out.

If so, we have Joe S, maybe McG, and Au jus returning. Maybe Spoon, may be not. But E-man has done a great job in his place. For blocking we have both tackles, plus good backups, Dwelley, Toilolo, , maybe Celek. For receivers we have Deebo, Sanders, Pettis, maybe Goodwin, Bourne, James, and then a stable of good RBs. D is up to almost normal .We have jimmyG coming off an all time best game of 4 TDs and 300+ yards.

We have the flat out best OC /HC in the business, and altho Carroll is good, he isn't in kyle's Class.

Put all that together, and i like us to win. If kittle plays, and he might, that would just be a bonus. No question we got a tough schedule with N.O, Ravens, SEA again at home, Rams here, and GB here, and AZ here. ATL looks easy compared to the rest.

No question we have a rugged schedule , but to say we "might miss the playoffs " with an 11-5 record , i believe is goofy. First off without kittle but with our startiing OTs, plus Au jus, that should by rights make us a better team than in our last game against AZ. Which we won there.

It looks like we are at close to full strength minus George. We have the best pass D in the league and are in the middle at 14th best against the run. Our running game is pretty much unstoppable and jimmy just proved he can carry this team on his back if he has to.

I think it very likely we beat SEA here, beat AZ here, beat the Rams( we just crushed them....mcvay is no kyle) , beat, GB here. Ravens, SEA there, and N.O look like really tough games. I see three losses, not 5. And my guessing is no less good than yours. So i think it likely we are much more apt to have 13 Ws than 11. Having kittle towards the end of the yr would help us immensely. And i certainly don't think if we happen to lose to SEA here it means no playoffs. I don't think we crush SEA, but with almost everyone back from PUP, i like us to win at home against SEA.

You are certainly allowed your opinion, but so am I. And i think we win 13 games not 11. And i think that is likely , not just possible. All gloom and doom....thanks no. This is a really good team and it sure looks like you are underselling it. Russ W + Pete is no match for kyle + JG. They got a great qB up for MVP. But we got a HC/OC very likely to be COTY. Advantage 49ers even without kittle.

Altho kittle shouldn't , i wouldn't be surprised to see him play. Depends on exactly what is on MRI, and in his knee. Without him, we still win.

If their posts sound like they're worried and scared, then they are... or they're an undercover cawk fan.

Both excuses are disgusting at best

Great. Season on the line Monday

Yup. If we lose we're a wildcard team.

Nothing certain. But possibility is much more likely. No downplaying this,Losing Kittle is a huge blow to this offense and it just may cost us the nfc west/first round bye

Finally I have an ally.

You guys are preaching truths but nobody wants to hear it.

This is a huge HUGE game and everybody saying "lol it's okay just rest him" is just blowing my mind.

We have Kyle. A good run game. And an elite defense. If this one player costs us so much, we aint ready for the chip. The saints did it without Brees and AK, yet people didn't discredit them because if it. We go the majority of the season without key starters and go undefeated. Now one player is out, anf its doom and gloom.
Seahawks are a second-tier team now. People acting like this is still 2013 make me laugh.
He will play, if they leave it up to how he feels monday hes goin in. I think its gamesmanship between Kyle and Pete. Let them worry about whether he plays or not. Even if he doesnt, we will be ok. If anyone has plays designed for multi receiver sets its Kyle and we also get Juice back to help block and open the run game more. Losing juice was supposed to be the end of our season and we would be exposed and we just keep goin. We will be ok. We have over a week to prepare for them, our defense had a bad game against arizona that everyone was upset about. They will make things right against a division foe and assert their dominance in a big way

You guys are reaching. Seattle still has to go to Philly, Rams, to Carolina and home games against us, Minnesota and Az.

They shouldn't allow kids to post on here

Shanny is the sole reason why we can win sny game. Just with his ability to scheme people open. Especially defenses that have weaknesses. Like he said, "be an assasin." If you dont have one tool, use another. #ninergang #forgetthedoubters
If Kittle is out for this game, they may go with 6 WR's
If Kittle can't go, then the team shouldn't play him. I still have enough faith in this team to win this game with Kyle as our head coach

This!

Shanny / Pete doing a poor job of copying Bellichick's BS injury reports
They are going to double team Sanders. It will come down to can the other WRs make plays and will Jimmy G trust them. Remember when before Sanders came how many INTs Jimmy was tossing to the other teams. The 49ers cannot afford to see that against Seattle and expect to win. Deebo, Pettis, and James need to step up early
