I'm down with this.
As great as Kittle is, we have to step back for a second and acknowledge at the end of the day he's a TE. A great one, perhaps what Gronk meant to NE......
But this isn't quite the playoffs, nor is Seattle IMO that big of a deal esp on defense.
Would be a much bigger issue if Bosa or Ford couldn't play, or maybe another corner.
This game will not come down to whether or not Kittle can play. It will depend on the defense to shut down Carson, and Wilson. Seattle's defense cannot control the 49er offense. We should put up at least 27 on them without Kittle. Can the defense hold them to less?

Lol, seems like some of you guys are really hanging on to the last piece of thread in hopes that some miracle happens and he somehow plays.

I'm so confident he'll play that I left him as my starting TE in fantasy

Would love to have Kittle out there but my brain has already accepted that he isnt playing. The real question is rather this defense can stop/slow down Seattle's offense. 8-0 is great and feels amazing but this is the real measuring stick for this defense especially. Winston, Mayfield, Dalton, Goff, Murray, Keenum, Rudolph, and Allen are not in the same stratosphere as Russell Wilson. We need to come out in a frenzy on defense and set the tone early. If we keep Wilson and company under 20 points and get the win that will be a statement that the NFC West is ours!

We don't need Kittle in order to win this game, but we do need him to finish out the year and make a push for the Super Bowl. The Seattle defense is really bad, but Wilson is really good. We're going to get our points, but we need to make some stops and Jimmy really has to avoid turning the ball over.
The way the Arizona game went, other than Alexander's injury, I think put this team in a very good position to win tonight. As I heard one of the talking heads say on TV, it was a win that "felt like a loss." And the defense felt like they didn't perform. That means a great week of practice and extra motivation to perform tonight against a player everyone is touting as an MVP (other than LaMar Jackson).

LOL at Lorenzo Neal on 95.7 claiming that losing Kittle for this game is bigger than if we had lost JG for it. Saying that the #1 player is Kittle and that Mullens would make due with him.

That. Let him sit for a couple weeks until the Packers game. Hopefully he's good to go down the stretch.

Each time I hear of Neal saying something on the radio, he comes off as amazingly stupid.

Well if we beat them this week without Kittle, then for sure we beat them with Kittle when we play them in Seattle.
