Don't count on it. It will be the same as last week where we are in the dark and we find out at the last possible moment that he isn't playing. He has a significant injury, based on the handling of this
Likely a bone bruise.
LOL. No.
More likely a case of lingering ouchie-wawa syndrome. Need to tweet some more armchair docs to see what they think before I solidify my 100% unsubstantiated opinion.
I understand this is the go to line for anybody who doesn't want to agree because it feels good to type it in and hit send. But this is literally what Dr. Chao said at the time, all of last week and then again last night. He rarely is wrong.

If the doctor said he was healthy and 100 percent you would would say the doctor is wrong. I get it I know how it works

FYI, I'm 100% just kidding around and not poking fun directly at anyone. Though it may not have come off like that. I do have some concern it will be as the other poster said. Kept in the dark with the Niners hoping for a miracle recovery, but that Kittle ultimately misses at least one more game.

Kyle Shanahan said George Kittle's knee/ankle injury is a "much bigger injury" than Robbie Gould's quad injury. He said he never rules out Kittle because of his history of overcoming injuries to play and play well.

OK now Kyle is starting to be more forthright about this. It was serious.

Anyone else wonder why this guy is sitting in the booth?!
Meanwhile Kwon is out there with an arm sling, trying to hype up the crowd as much as he can.

Didn't want anyone to see him in a cast after ACL surgery.

They don't want him to stand for 4 hours. He ain't close to be healthy if he shouldn't stand for 4 hours.

That makes sense actually. Right on for that!

Maiocco on KNBR: "I was told this was a multiple week injury. I don't think they're overly optimistic he will play on Sunday."

Shanahan just said he'd "probably be back Sunday"
