They just didn't want him standing for 3 hours is what they said.

Right. Also, Jalen Hurd was in the booth with him.

That is correct. This is obviously improvement. I suspect they will ramp up his rehab workload each day this week and see how the knee responds. I don't see the value in having him practice.

Other than curing my anxiety, me neither

If he cannot stand for 3 hours he cannot be close to play football for 3 hours.

Do you literally think he can't stand for 3 hours? lol They want him rested.

Shanahan has found a loophole in the mandatory NFL injury reporting

I don't know why they didn't just come out and say he'd be out 4-6 weeks. All these weekly reports is a bunch of bull s**t.

What's the benefit of doing that?

Yeah, I know.

Yeah, I know.

Nobody said he can't stand for three hours, just that he shouldn't. Still not good of course but let's not get carried away. He was standing plenty during the Seattle game.

if it's a bone bruise, you're looking at around 3-4 weeks.

I'm no Dr. and didn't sleep at a Holiday Inn last night, but quick reading suggests that is a best case scenario. Couple that with the fact Kittle is an absolute warrior, and there is just something inside me that feels like this injury is much more serious than being let on. That is PURE SPECULATION on my part, but it's been my feeling since the injury was first announced and it's not like KS is doing anything to quell my anxiety

MRI came back clean from what I remember. He's done some light rehab this past week. I'm sure as the week progresses they will do a little more. It's Wednesday.

It's a leg issue. What's the point of having him stand down on the sideline with players running all over the place?

Shanny's verbiage on the MRI was kind of weird.

"It's something on the knee and ankle, so he's got two things in both areas," he responded. "We know Kittle is a very tough guy, so he was able to come back in that game, but it's something we're not going to know until the end of the week."

The head coach was asked if the MRI came back clean.

"There's issues," Shanahan answered. "So, yes. He's got things in his knee and ankle, so we'll see."

Not totally clean. Just no structural issues. That's why major ligament damage is not a factor.
Nobody ever formally said what the MRI showed. That was just some anonymous source leak.

No idea what Kyle is up to with this. I kind of think Kittle gave him a Jerry Rice 1997/T.O. 2004 type of, "I'll return from what is usually a season ending injury" type of guarantee, and Kyle is just going with it.

lol, sure hope this isn't the case.

At least there is now confirmation that Kittle in fact does still have two legs.
