At least there is now confirmation that Kittle in fact does still have two legs.

And presumably a head

Nobody ever formally said what the MRI showed. That was just some anonymous source leak.

No idea what Kyle is up to with this. I kind of think Kittle gave him a Jerry Rice 1997/T.O. 2004 type of, "I'll return from what is usually a season ending injury" type of guarantee, and Kyle is just going with it.

We know what it didn't show. Which, in this case, is key.
I think he plays this week. I think they sat him out the last 2 weeks so he'd play sunday night.
Looks like no kittle again.
I'm pretty sure this is how Stone Cold Kittle view's the world. He would play every down in Kyle let him:

He's not practicing so it's probably likely.

I'd agree that it's more likely than not, but I'd put it as Questionable, not Doubtful.

I'm no Dr. and didn't sleep at a Holiday Inn last night, but quick reading suggests that is a best case scenario. Couple that with the fact Kittle is an absolute warrior, and there is just something inside me that feels like this injury is much more serious than being let on. That is PURE SPECULATION on my part, but it's been my feeling since the injury was first announced and it's not like KS is doing anything to quell my anxiety

I would look at it a bit differently -- Kittle is the best player we have on the offensive side of the ball and he's probably the best TE in the league. He's only 26 and by all accounts he's a terrific player in the locker room.

The team was 8-0 after the Arizona game and Kittle must have suffered some swelling and possibly some other problems after that game and the week after. I'm not sure he could have played at all in the Seattle game and perhaps he would have suited up against Arizona had it been a playoff game. As it stands, this team is overwhelmingly likely to make the playoffs even if Kittle doesn't suit up for the remainder of the regular season. Having Kittle for the playoffs is more important than seeding, not to mention having him healthy over the next 4-5 years.

I'm not sure if this is the choice -- Choice A is playing Kittle so we can get the #1 seed but not having him in the playoffs as a result or Choice B is resting Kittle so he's 100% for the playoffs but we end up as a wild card team, then I go for B. We can't win the NFC or Super Bowl without Kittle, we can win the NFC and Super Bowl if we're a wild card with a healthy Kittle.
I think we would be 10-0 right now if Kittle never had the injury.

Injuries suck...

This is the sorta vibe I've been hoping for. I think Deebo and Sanders play as well. If there was a game of significance for return, it would be this. Also feels like Kittle could have indeed played in the Zona game, but I think Kyle had so much confidence in Kingsbury's inability to defend 4 WR sets (in man coverage).
he is our most important player come playoffs time

I would sit him all he needs, except if we are at risk of missing the postseason altogether (say we lose next 2 and rams win both)

This is playoff time. Chances of going on the road and beating the likes of the Saints is slim and none in January. If we lose the division do you think this team is going on the road and beat the Seahawks,Packers and Saints in 3 straight weeks? Not going to happen.

Choice B all the way. With Kittle healthy we can win 3 straight road playoff games.

ifs and buts. every team has them, just got to rise above them but if our top three pass catchers can not go. it will be a long night in my opinion. if we could just get two out of the 3 to play that would be wonderful. if all three are out. not much you can do except to not have confidence that THIS is the game goodwin and pettis will get it
