Sorry for any inconvience but I have no idea how to post a pic on here. George Kittle had a t shirt made with an image from the Saints game that I wanted to share.

I was just reading a PFF article and it was talking about how he is the best receiver in football not just tightend.

That got me thinking is there any player in the NFL that you would trade kittle for straight up right now?

My first consideration in my head was Lamar Jackson. I would go with kittle over Lamar. The reason why is if you have Lamar your offense is completely designed to match him, however kittle allows you to do almost anything with the offense.

Will Dissley. He's a better TE, and blocker.

WTF? Dissley is a better TE and blocker?

This is according to Seahawks fans who try to equate Dissly to Kittle

Which reaffirms that they've only been watching football since 2014

hey, they call themselves the 2012th Man for a reason.

Big game for Kittle - 7 catches, 112 yds and 3 tds. Book it.
I know that Kittle hit the pylon on that TD, but wasn't the ball outside the pylon? Is that still considered a TD? I guess it must be since it had to be reviewed.

It went above the pylon and the pylon goes all the way to the sky

I agree. But it did not look like it was even close to over the pylon to me. Looked like it was half a foot to the outside of it at least. Just wasn't sure if I completely understood that rule, and that just toughing the pylon was enough regardless of the ball location.

Without Kittle, we're only a 9 win team this year. This dude puts the team on his shoulders and wills us to victories!

And without JG ?

see last year.

The forgotten truth commentators ignore when talking about Jimmy G. As 49ers fans, we have known for 20 years what just removing the QB can do to a team. See the 1999 49ers with Steve Young and without.

I don't think the ball ever crossed above the pylon or into the endzone. It crossed out of bound before his hand hit the pylon. The video just wasn't conclusive enough for them to overturn it. Had it been called out of bound, it would have stayed as called. Since it was called TD on the field, I'll take the TD call

I'm having Steve Stenstrom flashbacks Honestly though, once Garcia was put back into the starting lineup, the offense started putting up decent numbers at the end of '99.

I think he was over it. Bad angles but I remember they should a replay during the game which looked pretty clear he was over it

Close enough. If the league really cared theyd install overhead cameras on a cable directly above the front two pylons. Throw in one at each hash mark too for goal line plays. A lot of times thats the missing, definitive angle on all those plays. Seems like a good investment..

I don't think all stadiums would be able to outfit their field with cables high enough as to not interfere with kicks/throws.
