The 3rd comment on this thread was 'Damn, Butt taken one pick before'. Sure glad he was. I think we got the better player. I know he's chomping at the bit to get on the field against Seattle since he didn't play in the first game.

I can't call him the best tight end in Niner history until he plays a few more seasons. He sure has the talent and his ability to get yards after the catch is crazy. Vernon Davis had more speed but he never really showed it after the catch. Kittle does and has better hands too. If he plays another 3-5 years at this level with the Niners then he will definitely be the best. I think you have to look at the entire body of work when comparing and he just hasn't played long enough.

Man I wish he was there in game one. Seattle had zero respect for the passing game. I can't see Kittle having an off day...he'll be on 100 all game long.

The best thing I've heard from Seattle fans..."I'm tired of hearing about SF not having Kittle" "we didn't have will dissly, and his stats were just as good as Kittle's" Literally multiple fans trying to tell me he's just as good as Kittle.
