Really doubt McDonald gets traded considering the cap hit that the 49ers would trade. Rolling with him and Kittle at TE with Paulsen as the #3 sounds good.

Well Beathard won't be lonely. Kittle was his favorite target. Speedy, well built TE that needs refinement as a blocker but instantly he's a better option than Celek.

Ran a 4.52 40 at 250 pounds. Very good value at this point in the draft.
4.52 at 250?
what was Vernon's time again at what weight?

Like 4.38 at 250.... I think

there's no way he ran an official 4.38 lol

Yeah, he did
Nice pick. I gotta say, Lynch and Shanny are really killing it in this draft.

He did, actually. Unreal.
Solid pickup. Didn't realize how fast he was

This. Although, if Shanahan doesn't think Vance is worth a roster spot, we have the cap space right now to get rid of him. I'd be happy to get a 6th rounder for him, or a pick in 2018, but doubt it happens.

I think people forget what a physical freak Vernon was when he come out of college.

there is a reason he got us those big play TDs. he was just was alittle stiff. not agile.

I'm trying to remember the last TE that went that high in the draft.

after we got Kittle, one can forget why trade we would have some profit in.
Celek is limited, Bell a nobody. Vance at least proved value in blocking and can catch some important passes at times. So, yes, Vance should be a keeper, at least this season.

Unfortunately it was Vernon's vertical that continued to interrupt his flow.

Lol thought he was talking about Kittle. I was like no way he ran a 4.38 and lasted to the 5th round

I'm aware Vernon ran that
My reading is broken.

Ya dude was the Calvin Johnson of tight ends

A streak to Vernon Davis was nearly unstoppable sometimes

I think Ebron on the lions was a top 10 pick as well
