Pretty cool that his draft happened because they wanted to workout CJB and had him help. Similar to what happened to Dwight Clark when Walsh wanted to workout Clemson QB Steve Fuller.

McDonald is making 4.16 million this year, finished the year on ir again with 24 catches for 391 yards and a 16.3 avg.
Celek is the better blocker, route runner and catcher.

I could see Bell and Celek on the trading block for a pick in 2018. Wouldn't mind seeing both traded, and roll with McDonald+Kittle+Paulsen+Nelson(really a LS). Juice will get in there as well, when he's not playing FB or the occasional RB. So basically McDonald and Juice with Kittle and Paulsen backing them up. I wanted Bell to be something, but Kittle is probably already a better TE, so we might as well move on from the Bell project. Celek actually probably has descent value as a cheap #2 TE to teams.

We just got a starting caliber TE in the 5th round.
As already stated he is the 2nd ranked run blocker in the country at TE.
He ran a 4.52 40 at the combine with a 35" vertical.
He only dropped one pass in his collegiate career.
