Would be nice if we had a gif of the play to look at again. Hilarious that everyone is not only crapping on the most productive player in the game on Sunday because of one missed catch, they are actually giving up on his career already after one season in the NFL, despite his numbers. Lmao
George Kittle's drop felt like the turning point of the game for the #49ers. What should've been a game-tying touchdown quickly became a 14-point lead for the #Vikings, with Jimmy Garoppolo's pick-six on the next play.

Didn't say it was a bad throw, just could have been better. Thats a tough catch for a TE to make.

That is actually exactly what it equates to lol. I'm assuming your point is that he's not a natural football player? And that having speed and measurables don't equate to being a good football player?
Regardless Kittle is a stud. He may not be as big as Gronk but he's very talented as long as he stays healthy. Hopefully he works on the drops if the pick 6 didn't happen on the play right after it wouldn't have been as big a deal.

There was a real good replay during the game. Showed Kittle close his hands a half second early and the ball bounced right off his closed hands.

It was a brilliant play, schematically and with the timing in the game... they had been running OZ, the counter off that is the boot which they had been running, and the counter off the boot is the throwback as seen here... so its a counter to the counter of the OZ executed just at the right time too

Don't bother man. This dude could sit half the year with a quad strain and they'd say "let's just give him some time"

Personally, I'm not among those that thought it was a bad throw, but I can see to an extent why some could argue that. My point for the naysayers about Kittle's ability is that one miscue in the last game doesn't erase his successful plays, nor does it eliminate the indisputable fact that he was one of best rookie tight ends in the NFL last year, despite battling through injuries and still playing -- like an old school NFL player -- missing just one game all year.
Players like him are not a dime a dozen and I find it strikingly laughable that anyone would suggest that. Not to mention trashing on him after just one season (and a successful one at that).
Would people rather have a guy like Vance who we waited years for but can't stay on the field and either fumbles or flips balls into the air for picks when he touches it?

That's what I saw. Troubling was that Kittle didn't seem to know how to track the long pass. He looked uncomfortable looking back for it.

Don't worry Jimmy's got 15 more games to change your mind about him being a bad player!
