Even though the focus was to limit Kelce, you saw Mahomes target him over and over. But we completely ignored Kittle. Was there not a Kittle package in place Kyle ? Really ?

Kyle is not smart enough for that. You are assuming he knows what he's doing.

Simple. KC has one of the best DCs in the game. They have very good cover corners. The Niner receivers weren't wide open like they usually are in Kyle's offense. On the other hand, Kelce is very good at getting open and losing Greenlaw made it easier. He also has Mahomes throwing to him.

Was Mahomes completing passes to Kelce that Brock couldn't make? It just seemed like their play calls worked so well in the end. The rice play, the Kelce play, the game winning play, the Mahomes option that resulted in a massive lane for like 30 yards. It just seems like all their crunch time plays had a plan and worked to perfection, while we were still just running plays. They had planned for this scenario, and knew what plays they wanted to get to. Kyle didn't even have us prepare for OT. He got outclassed badly by Reid and Spags

Not exactly what happened. We keep Kittle in to block. Because our offensive line is so bad. This negates him in the passing game. Because he's not even out there. A terrible point of frustration over the years. I wish they would fix the offensive line. So they could actually use this weapon of a TE.

He ran for more than 30 routes that game brock passed for 38. Do the math. Stop with this we keep kittle in to block narative because he didn't do it nearly as much as some of you think he did.

From what I read (I've only watch the live version) Spags basically had DBs matched up with him. He was playing dime vs our 21 personnel and while he's a pretty damn good route runner, he's also not usually lined up vs DBs all game.

Which is how we should have played Kelce instead of Burks

You absolutely NAILED it!
He seems to be a latter read even when he is running a route. But when you look back the man is constantly open.

Kittle was only targeted 3 times in the Super Bowl and they were dumpoffs except for one I believe. Kyle wasted him

Yeah I mentioned that in the game thread. Disaster.
Will all these restructures we constantly do every year come to bite us in the ass eventually?

Only bite you if the player sucks or they're not extended.
