I was about to say the same thing. A lot of this is not just for now, its for the next 3-4 years as well. They know Purdy will get a monster deal etc.

I know Kittle came out of the draft as an older athlete, but damn, it's crazy that he's going to be 31 years old before the 2024 season.

I still can't believe this dude hasn't gotten surgery. Dude has been playing injured for years. Love this dude but he needs some help badly. Cut down on snap counts. Hope Latu and others can give this boy a break.

It's time to replace him. 31 years old and he plays aggressive so it's a hard 31. Injuries and slowing are around the corner. We get maybe one or two more productive years. More if we fix the oline and let him be a more consistent receiver

Unlikely, because it'll still be a run centric offense which is what really takes the biggest toll on his broken body.

I disagree with productive. You can be productive with 500 yards as a TE. Maybe two more great 900 yard + years.
