Just give the ball to him more

I think maybe we should throw more IF our pass pro is better. Our receiving talent > our RB talent and that's saying something considering we have two All Pros, a really good back in Mitchell (horrible health), and Mason.

Why do they need to get his replacement, just get another good TE?

I should been more through in my comment.

Replacement for the future. I would love to seen more two TE sets with both TEs that can block and catch.

It's actually impressive how bad the Niners missed on this last year.

Cam Latu was a really horrible pick. They almost got it right this season but the Lions f**k that up. Thank god it's still early.

the last two drafts have been bad aside Purdy, Moody, and brown. The rest are nobody's.

To be fair, we had almost no draft capital to work with. 2022 was a great draft due to Purdy alone. 2023 wasn't good but we shouldn't have come away with more than one starter given where we picked.

2022 draft value: 584 (entire draft class is equivalent to 33rd pick). Brock Purdy alone is way more valuable than all our draft picks that year.

2023 draft value: 372 (equivalent to 53rd pick). Moody, Brown
I'd actually be all about giving him an extension

extend, extend
He needs to be a 49er until retirement

I'd say sad. Not impressive. Unless you're impressed by them failing which in turn wouldn't be very fanlike.
It seems to me like they're more interested in a receiving tight end rather than blocking. Although, they'd rather have the best of both worlds, of course. For example the latest "WR" to visit. Now, if they could get some sort of blocking prowess out of him it could be a steal. He may be too tall though.

I agree that both of those drafts were rather weak for the Niners. Unfortunately that's what happens when you have no 1st rounder and you pick near the end of every round. I imagine the Niners had a lot of guys on their board that were scooped up before they had the chance to draft.
