'Will he be a first ballot HOF'er?' I wouldn't bet on it.

I mean 2X first-team all-pro, 2X second-team all-pro. 5x pro-bowler.

already 14th all-time in yards and that's with a little over 100 games played. If he's in the league for the next 5 yrs. He will be a HOFer imo.

I hope they give him an extension to keep him here.

Ditto. I think he has two years left- lower that cap number and extend him now. This is legit one of his best seasons, in all 4 areas, yardage, TDs (he's been a scoring machine since Brock took over), yards per catch, and his receiving efficiency.

Except he plays in an era with Kelce who's going to be a 1st ballot hofer. Kittle may eventually get in but it might take time. Now if we let him go to a team that gets him a ring or two before he retires it could change things but on this team that is facing a rebuild one way or another sooner than than later...

So much better TE than Kelce who's a glorified receiver. Next block Kelce throws will b his first. 😂

Chips and all pros get you in first ballot and Kelce has this over Kittle.

Maybe. But he's not the better TE.
WHen Kittle gets the ball good things hapen
Without Kittle and JJ this season would be just awful
Member Milestone: This is post number 600 for derrickt.
It's absurd when Tyshun complains then Kyle forces feeds his infant baby but George has to block and doesn't cry about it.

It's about time George approaches Lynch and KS and present his case. The Deebo experiment this year is over. Rest George for next year.

Absolute 100%.....I think he's the best TE in football given what he's asked to do, and dominates in every aspect.....receiving, pass blocking, run blocking. There is no other TE in football today that is comparable in having the full skill set. Having said that, I still wouldn't bet he'll be a first ballot player because A) I have no vote or influence on who does vote....and as we see every year, there are players who get passed by on voting, and B) We have no idea when he becomes eligible because he's still playing. His first year of eligibility may come up when other equally - or more - deserving players are also up for enshrinement.

Put it this way.....what if both him and Kelce retire the same year. Do you think the voters would put two TE's in the HOF at the same time? Because Kelce (despite not being the overall player that Kittle is) will go in first ballot due to the sheer numbers + the rings. I think Kittle is a first-ballot HOF player, but a lot has to go his way to become one.

Funny his numbers are exactly what Kellen Winslows are except Kittle has more yds in one less career game.. Granted the criteria for TEs getting into the HoF has changed. But if he plays 3-4 more years at a high level that probably puts him in the top 5 for all time receiving yards by a TE, that gets him in easy IMO.
Have to find a guy that will make a conscious effort to get him the ball while he's still a difference maker.
This guy is the epitomy of what all niner players should be.
This year's MVP and #2 is Fred Warner

I wouldn't compare his numbers against Winslow - that dude played in a totally different era. A 1200 yard season 40+ years ago is a 1600+ season today.
