already 14th all-time in yards and that's with a little over 100 games played. If he's in the league for the next 5 yrs. He will be a HOFer imo.
I hope they give him an extension to keep him here.
Absolute 100%.....I think he's the best TE in football given what he's asked to do, and dominates in every aspect.....receiving, pass blocking, run blocking. There is no other TE in football today that is comparable in having the full skill set. Having said that, I still wouldn't bet he'll be a first ballot player because A) I have no vote or influence on who does vote....and as we see every year, there are players who get passed by on voting, and B) We have no idea when he becomes eligible because he's still playing. His first year of eligibility may come up when other equally - or more - deserving players are also up for enshrinement.
Put it this way.....what if both him and Kelce retire the same year. Do you think the voters would put two TE's in the HOF at the same time? Because Kelce (despite not being the overall player that Kittle is) will go in first ballot due to the sheer numbers + the rings. I think Kittle is a first-ballot HOF player, but a lot has to go his way to become one.
