Resign him ASAP.
Fix the OLine.
Use him much more as a receiver and we'll win more games.

But if he plays 3-4 more years at a high level that probably puts him in the top 5 for all time receiving yards by a TE, that gets him in easy IMO.
I wouldn't compare his numbers against Winslow - that dude played in a totally different era. A 1200 yard season 40+ years ago is a 1600+ season today.
yeah i get that

Don't extend him long-term. He's going to get injured. Don't fall for this nonsense again. Assume every player you sign is going to get injured and sign them accordingly, except for quarterback and kicker, since those positions are so important.
I'd extend him a year at a time, and if he makes unreasonable salary demands that can't fit, trade him.

They should just contract the team and sell off the assets. The players are bound to get hurt again, fumble, hold out, throw picks, etc. Who needs it?

The formula is to not sign players to long-term contracts because when they get hurt, they end up taking up huge cap space and you can't field a decent team until their contract gets to the point where you can cut them.
Trent Williams, for example, will count $56 million against the cap if he retires after this season.

this guy is holding back the offense. he's just a good blocker and a yac bro.
we have too many bulky bursty yac bros.
the budget marshawn lynch runningback has to go too. he's not a fit for 2025 football.
kyle is just gonna keep yac bro-ing with these types of weapons. new mustache for 2025 offense please!

Yup. This is the way. Maybe the 49ers can put them on a system where they are only compensated for games they play so many snaps in.

Older players are more prone to injury especially those with as many hard miles as Kittle, father time is also undefeated. He's going to be 32 next year.

We draft warren (great blocker and playmaker) and use Kittle in a Kelce style

blocking tightend like everyone else has said. overall he's part of the problem as one of the YAC BROs. not very happy with his season. what a disappointing season. we don't need 5 different variations of deebos and kittles. might as well put fullbacks everywhere on this roster.

967 yard receiving and 8 TDs to date. 15th overall in the league in receiving yards and 2nd overall for TEs (literally 100 yards behind Brock Bowers).

And he's missed a game not only that he gets way less targets than any of the elite tight ends in the league. He would shatter every single TE record known to man if he just got targeted like Gronkowski Kelce, or any other great tight end.

To add context to your point :
Bowers targets : 137
Kelce targets : 122
Kittle targets : 83
