One thing Hoyer will have to do is learn to throw lower and to a smaller strike zone and with quicker and faster anticipation. CK really struggled throwing high to Kerley so Hoyer's accuracy and ball placement is something to watch in TC...catching radius is smaller and he needs to allow for optimum YAC with great ball placement and anticipatory throws.

Yeah, I agree - he has to learn to throw to a smaller target and hitting the receiver in stride. I think Hoyer is already working on this with his smaller receivers.

Naw he gets a toe in bounds. But the ball makes contact with the ground and moves so incomplete. But in the NFL who knows what a catch is.

i zoomed in on my giant monitor. the tip of his left size 7 shoe, hits the white line. Also, like you mentioned, the ball hits the ground and his right hand repositions on the ball. both would make it incomplete.

Really want this kid to make it in the NFL. Loved him in college. Just the proverbial "little engine that could" story. He was so shifty and quick, and was always open. In college though, he operated out of the spread and LA Tech did a good job giving him space to operate in. Here in the NFL, the coverages will be tighter and the field shrinks.

Wes Welker started a revolution with these little, shifty, caucasian receivers. Now every team is looking for these guys. I'm really pulling for this kid to be one of the ones that stands out in the bunch.

Good breakdown. Hard to really tell on my phone where the left toe hit cuz of the goal line but it was a crafty move to roll and hide the ball moving from the zebra.

Pretty much. Looks like if he were 2 inches taller that's a touchdown.
