I can't help but think Kerley cut was mostly a salary dump, just like Vance.
In this case tho, we lost a receiver who has shown he can adapt fast and has good hands and some heart. I have no doubt Taylor can be like that, but not in year one.

Should have cut Bourne and kept Kerley Bourne would have easily cleared waivers to the practice squad.

Yeah he seems really confident back there, smart player.
Would love to see him and Kittle targeted more in the passing game.
As the slot receiver, the one thing you can not do is drop 3rd downs. That is your down and where Kerley made a living. He'll get better.
It was a great play by the LB, I don't fault Taylor
Hoyer might have been late on the throw, honestly I can't really tell, but I think if the ball was placed lower and away from the LB, Taylor would have caught it
I rewatched last night and while the ball hit both his hands the defenders hand knocked it out simultaneously. It was a great PBU...Hoyer a tad late. That said, IIRC, we just needed one yard so I don't know why Taylor's route was that far deep.

Can't always go short on a one yard play...need to use some of that foolery! They don't have a power line and RB to blast for one yard. Hyde is a good RB but almost worthless in those situations...except as a receiver out of the backfield. They might have tried Brieda...he seems to have a knack.

Yeah, these are all the nuances Kyle will need to work through and learn about his personnel.

the WRs we have should be used the way the Patriots use their.. .. let these Lil Rascals run across the field majority of the time instead of having them running routes and try to beat out much bigger DBs...

He didn't recognize Seattle running a "mable' coverage against a 3x2 set. I'll break it down when I start the film thread, but we had Garcon 1v1 in man running a slant on a slant/flat concept. With the hook/curl/flat defender occupied by the flat and Wagner occupied by Taylor's middle curl it left a large opening for Garcon who beat his man.

There was no PI which is why you didn't see it. Whenever the refs are right you see replays and better angles. That was BS.

I know it's early. But between him and Garcon, I have two more jerseys to purchase.
