When your team sucks as bad as this team does you should probably steer clear of Vegas odds and power rankings. Just sayin

vegas is always dead on. 4 wins and a tie with the rams sounds about right.
4 wins looks baseline and 6 wins with things pulling together right. Its a fairly tough schedule
Kyle won 7 games with the Browns in 2014 with Hoyer/Terrance West/Andrew Hawkins. I think at least 5 wins is definitely going to happen.

Rams 2x
@ Bears
Jags
Split with Cards

A FQB and a big blue chip WR is all we need.
sounds about right. Our QB is average at best. We dont have any proven OWs past Garcon who is on the wrong side of 30. Our defense added some nice young pieces but overall they are still a question mark. I think next year we will make some noise when we get Cousins or a high drafted QB. Then we can spend our cash more on some high priced FAs to fill any holes.

To be honest, no one knows s**t. Our final year with Harbs was a Superbowl-level team that only won 8 games. We had a top 5 WR corps, Kap was one of the best QBs in the NFL according to the pundits and the defense was still elite. Eight wins.

That was an 11-12 win team but injuries and bad penalties cost us 3-4 games easily. The Denver game showed we weren't on the same level as previous year but still had playoff staring roster and top level coaching but bad depth (a result of terrible draft classes).

I think 4.5 is where it needs to be right now considering Hoyer is our day one starter and our WR core is nothing that is going to keep DC's up late at night. 7 wins wouldn't surprise me but 4-5 games sounds more realistic.
5-6 wins sounds right to me. Sure it was a great draft...on paper. Let's see them play some downs of real NFL football before we conclude "well that hole was filled."
4 games.. i'm taking the under.. i think we are more competitive however, our QB situation is not going to help.
We got at least 5 wins in us, Im going to put a hundo on us!

5-6 wins.

7-9 would be a great year.
I'd say 3-5 wins.

This roster is still horrible. Brian Hoyer is one of the worst starting QBs in the league. Our receiving corps is horrendous; it consists of Pierre Garcon and a bunch of projects/castoffs. People are irrationally excited about Vance McDonald because they are extrapolating a small sample size; there is a reason the team is shopping him. Shanahan will help maximize potential with good playcalling and scheming, but a lot of that applied to Chip Kelly as well (e.g. Kaepernick had a strong-but-hollow-and-racked-up-in-garbage-time 16:4 TD:INT ratio).

The defense has added some really nice pieces, but let's be honest here, we were one of the worst defenses of all-time last year. This isn't miraculously going to develop into a defense people fear overnight.

We basically have a crappy offense and an average-at-best defense. That's a recipe for disaster.

I love the direction this franchise is going, but this rebuild isn't happening in one year. We are still unquestionably one of the worst teams in the league.
Sounds about right. I'll take the over.
Coaching and roster are definitely upgraded from this time a year ago. I liked Chip Kelly and he was handed a s**t hand but I don't ever see him being successful in the NFL. Shanahan looks very promising. Brings back an offensive identity many of us want.

Roster wise I think we hit home runs in both free agency and the draft. Garcon and the FB in fa will be huge. I liked the center we brought in via trade. Solomon and Foster (this guy in particular . lord please let him be healthy) will both be reliable above average starters right away. Our defense looks like it has elite potential.

Im always optimistic but this year feels different id be shocked if we don't over that line.
