Depends on the commission (vig / vigorish) at whichever casino or bookie you go with...
if it's still -110 over / under 4.5, you'll put up $110 to win $100. If it states even (ev), then $200 to win $200 (even money)
Yeah exactly. At -110 you would win $182 Because in order to win $200 you would have to bet $220.
Basically they are charging you $2 per $20 bet. So on a $200 bet you would win $182 at -110.

Ahh but that's where vegas sweeps up is on the teasers and parlays. Yet I do like them too especially them parlays. Nothing like hitting a nice parlay.
Not even Marco D'Angelo will touch teasers.

Lol truth, and it's a lot of fun... as long as we know they're mostly just sucker bets, it's all good. But 4 team teasers aren't that hard to nail though the pay isn't as great unless you got cash to burn.

Smoke seems ticked....
Just wait till after camp, practices and preseason... not only will more cash pour in on the over to move the total up, but some folks in here will change their tune a bit. Book it
I feel a lil something like 7-9, but won't be surprised in Shanny gets them to perform better. I'd really be shocked if we went under 5 wins.

First question is why? Next is, did they by chance see the draft...and read reports that 9 of those 10 are expected to make the team?
Having 9 out of 10 players from the draft make the team isn't necessarily a good thing. It could just show how weak our team was prior to the draft and subpar/average draftees have a better shot at making this team. So, using that as a basis to mean that we will be good, is completely idiotic. It proves nothing except that we have many wholes. Having many holes isn't an indication of a good, or better team. Vegas giving us 4.5 is absolutely spot on. But, like others have pointed out, those are good odds to bet on. I think we can be a 5-6 win team. So, vegas giving us 4.5 is not an insult and actually a pretty accurate grade of us. Plus, 4 wins puts us in contention for the Sam Darnold sweepstakes :)

Agree, CV, we had one crappy team where talent was concerned. But it didn't stop there. It went right to the top, with an unsure Owner's son, the team Pres, and then most of the top folks under him were just useless. Changing everything is a massive accomplishment, and landing Kyle and John was a gift from the football Gods. But there was wholesale changeover at the top, and it was just what we needed....only 17 yrs too late. The changeover at the upper echelons are worth a couple games in the W column but question is how many wins is the 50% in player turnover worth? It appears we have upgraded in every case, nad whereas that may not mean a lot ,it sure means something.
OL with Juttah and adding a FB , Jusczyk ,is a huge bonanzas for us. How many Ws is that worth? Kyle early on settled on Hoyer who he has worked wiht before so he didn't have to worry about drafting someone he didn't want as qb...and then drafted his backup too. Remember, it isn't the talent of the qb so much that matters. With kyle it is can the QB he drafted carry out his game calls? Can he follow his game plan ? If so, how many Ws is that worth. Many are fixated on the QB per se. In fact they do not realize with kyle it is the matter of QB following Kyle's play calls that determines how well our QB does. Granted in any other HC we have had since 2000, it would matter who the Qb is . Here it is different. Here it matters can he carry out Kyle's plan once on the field.
So OL is fixed, now have a great FB, got rid of our crappy WRs except for kerley and streator and added a handful of guys faster, better, smarter than the ones we had. How many Ws fo that? Maybe none, maybe one.?
On D we got best DL in draft, we got best LB in draft, we got a starter in Ahkello at CB, plus we have 3 other DB starters. We will be way better across the D board. We have an IMPACT player in Buck, now one in Solomon, one in Bow, and one in Foster...plus Staley.
What we need is a QB and a #1 WR. HC/OC is best in business. We won 5 games with the tomsul. FIVE. If we can do that with him, we certainly can beat 6 Ws with Kyle. But i think we win more. Significantly more.
We will have 4 wins after week 4

When I read this BS when it came out I went straight to gambling sites to lay down some bread on my Niners, but they wanted me to signup and give them personal info and Homey don't play that.. Oh well, but I dare say there will be more than 4.5 wins. I'd say at least 6.. Niners..!
