Jones is a more natural NT so I hope he makes the team and can turn into that anchor the team has needed for so long. Tired of seeing runs up the middle when Bowman is out. Foster may help but a stout DT who can't be moved would make my day.

Yeah, but if they have a guy listed as a starter it still means they want to see him against other starters. If someone is bad, they get buried.

They as in coaches. The reason the players are listed where they are (by Joan in accounting) is a reflection of who's getting more snaps with the first team in practice. Which brings me back to my original point, there is a reason they are getting those snaps.

Some teams won't even release a depth chart until the start of the regular season. Chip did that last year.
