When I separated my ac joint in rugby I kept playing the rest of the season. My guess is that if this was the season he would be in there. They get a chance to rest it a bit in the preseason so they do. He will be in there for game 1.
Depends on if it's a 1-degree, 2-degree, 3-degree, ... up to 6-degree AC separation. I had a 3-degree separation. Essentially, how many of the shoulder ligaments were torn. 4+ becomes a 'surgery required' situation. 3 is dicey, and 2 or 1 is a pain management situation and PT.
They are holding him out of practice and just got Shane Skov, to me that's not a good sign. Looks like next years draft will be defense again.

some people are linking the Skov signing with the Foster injury
lol
From yesterday.
49ers waive LB Jayson DiManche and place LB Donavin Newsom on IR
They just had open spots to fill.
Punches being thrown between Broncos offense and 49ers defense in another brawl now.

#49ers #Broncos practice didn't take long for several fights. Most SF D-line vs Denver O-line but Reuben Foster in mix, bum shoulder & all
