It makes too much sense to also have the Red throws as well. I could be perfect (forgive if im butchering the uni rules) but I'd love to see the following uniform schedule:
Classic Red and Gold: 6 home games
94 Red Throws: 2 home games
Classic White and Gold: 6 away games
94 White Throws: 2 road games

It's purely strategic. He prefers the whites in hot conditions and the reds when it's cold. He says the white allows our players to stay cooler giving us a competitive advantage. Style has nothing to do with it.

Tartt just tweeted he wished they could wear throwbacks rest of year.
Could Niners do that per league rules? Would be awesome a la 94.
I don't love the white at home but it did look nice.

I'd take that....with one qualifier. The red throws would be worn anytime they are playing Dallas at home.

The home team gets the choice of what uniform they want to wear and the road team has to don the opposite scheme.

The jersey is our official alternate, league rules only permit alternates to be worn a max of 2 times per season
