You trolling?
There's nothing wrong or inaccurate in saying we were the more talented team. It doesn't mean we automatically had to win the game though. The more talented teams don't always win.
That part is typically in part due to coaching and preparation. When you come out with a more talented team and you open up with an illegal formation penalty and get dominated in the first half that's coaching. Players still have to make the plays but that's just really inexcusable.

That's my point. If the 49ers didn't have any turnovers they would have had a much better chance to win.
Kap was starting his 10th game. You can't expect him to play like a 5 year vet. Kap tossed a pick Flacco didn't. 49ers lost by 1 score.
60% of the time every time the team with 0 INT usually wins.
lol

What exactly is your point with this Brady thing? If anything you can't even keep up with your own point of trying to pretend Harbaugh didn't blow a golden opportunity vs his own brother and an inferior team.
Brady was a seasoned vet playing with a defense not even close to the one we had. We had a kid making his 10th career start and we abandoned the running game and put the game in his hands without calling a blitz beater option out there.
You see how Belichick called his games while Brady and Garoppolo were out and a rookie had to start for them?

Your point is the 49ers turned the ball over and that's why they lost and it had nothing to do with coaching?
We were down 21 to 6 at the half. Can you honestly say it looked like we came into that game ready to play at a level we should've been playing at? It took a friggin blackout for us to get some momentum. I'm afraid what would've happened if the blackout never happened. I know we've had a track record for making halftime adjustments but why not come into the game ready to play?

They were beat by a more experienced team that made more plays.
Pretty simple.
Brady didn't beat Baltimore that year because he had 1 td and 2 INT and didn't play as good as he could have.

You're trying to take any blame away from the coaches which is ridiculous given the performance that day.
It's not that simple. It's not all the coaches fault but they sure as hell should get blame for some of that performance. When you have a young team and especially a young QB the coaches job is crucial to making sure the game doesn't get too big for them.
They came out unprepared and believing their own hype and then it was too late to recover. Just like the choke by Atlanta wasn't all Kyle Shanahan our choke wasn't all Jim Harbaugh or the other coaches but the blame is definitely all around and with a young team I'd put more blame on the coaches...especially given the terrible start.
Honesty when you have 2 weeks to prep for the game and the other HC is your brother you better come prepared. Not everyone gets a blackout to regroup and change momentum to try to make it a closer game.

Let's get back on subject - what happened in 2012 was unpleasant but not relevant here.
Most of the people who have responded to my posts try to slot me in some imaginary "camp". It's either I wanted Trubisky in the draft (shudder), or McDaniels for HC (horror!). In fact, McDaniels would be as risky as Shanahan Jr. He is another "genius". I distrust all those geniuses. Yeah, yeah, Walsh was a genuine one, but he was the exception. More often you have an arrogant, overpromoted coordinator in the Mangini/McDaniels/Kelly mould. They were geniuses too (Mangeniuses in one case). The arrogance is really the main problem I have with the SB choke job. When we effed up in the SB it was dreadful execution. When Seattle picked an idiotic call in their SB loss it was just being too clever by half - trying to not do the obvious thing. But they were just one (or a couple) of brain farts. Atlanta's implosion last year was not an abberration but the result of arrogance: things were looking dangerous, their defence was gassed beyond gassing, but STILL they refused to run the clock out with runs up the middle for no gain, even when they were in FG range, and even when they got breaks their way with NE turnovers. They were clever. They would keep passing, They were geniuses, dammit!
Look, this is the pessimism thread. The forum is full of kool aid ones, some of which I like and enjoy. Of course I want the team to prove me wrong. What do I care if I'm proven wrong in an internet forum if the team win?
For the record, so that people don't try to slot me in imaginary "camps" from now on:
Of all the available HCs, Shanahan was probably the best and I was happy that we got him. If he had refused it would be yet another signal that we are toxic beyond toxicity. I am less comfortable with giving him the keys to the building for the next decade (or what seems like it), but I guess he wouldn't come to work for the wonder duo of Jed/Paraaaaag otherwise. But I fear the arrogance of "genius", the "my way or the highway" approach that is so often the "genius" style. I think that getting Walsh 2.0 is very unlikely, simply because Walsh 1.0 was such a lottery win. It's more likely that we get Jets Mangenius 2.0. Or Kelly in Philly, Year 2. Not super likely. But likelier.
Lynch was out of left field, but frankly I hardly knew the other suits that were promoted as potential GMs. I had no GM horse in the running. He seems like a good egg so far. Much better than Baalke - less arrogant for one.
Any of the QBs in the draft made me sick in my mouth at the thought of drafting them. I was a Thomas fanboi. Last year I was a Buckner one (look my posts up if you wish, although I don't post much).
I have been fearing about Bowman's health for some time. I am also a huge fan of his. He is the man. He is also a badly injured man.

What does that have to do with the 49ers being more talented?
FYI: SoCold is a good dude when he's not being so cold but if you bring up anything negatively related to Harbaugh (poor development, Roman, immaturity, act wearing thin, etc.) or positively for Baalke (talent), his brain explodes in about 49 different directions all at once.

Oh most definitely!

Then what's the problem? We got the guy that you stated was the best option available and got the guy you wanted in Solomon plus avoided the top end QBs....I get it this is the woe is me thread, but compared to the s**t we've had the past two yrs this staff seems to have an idea. That's not a kool-aid comment either, I'm being completely objective. No one in their right mind thought we had anything positive going on once harbs was sent packing.
Why can't he be mike shanahan 2.0, why does he have to be compared to bill Walsh? I don't see how chip Kelly is even remotely relevant to kyle? Kyle runs a pro-offense that been around for a long time, there's proven success with that scheme. Go look back at Kyle's resume as a OC everywhere he's gone he's improved the offense. We will see what he brings to the table as a HC, but coaches and players alike have said he was meant to be a HC and we're seeing players that want to come play for him for a reason.
