What teams doesn't add veterans? god lord you're reaching so damn hard to try and prove your point it's ridiculous.
I need to just stay out of this thread honestly

If Sickness isn't a troll, will somebody please explain the definition of troll to me?
Would you still be fawning all over Kirk Cousins if he signed a long-term deal with Washington & was never coming to the Niners? Methinks no.

Once again, youthinks wrong.
Methinks that would be a regrettable loss. You don't get healthy quarterbacks in their prime that have "done it" in the NFL, either by trade, free agency, or the draft. You always pay for the come. But the closer they are, the better the chances they get there. And if you have reason to believe your coach and system will improve his performance, that is the perfect storm. Guaranteed? No. But the best odds of all possible scenarios. To not want to jump on that with both feet is just stupid, and fortunately, we are no longer run by stupid people.

In 1992, after helping us win two Super Bowls, the Niners got tired of Charles Haley's antics, disruptions, and confrontations with the coaches. We put him on the trading block, which Eddie now acknowledges was his biggest mistake.
Jimmy Johnson in Dallas had no interest, until an assistant told him Haley was "smart". "Smart? If he's smart, I can reason with him". .......

I certainly haven't been fawning over tom Brady for the past 17 years...why would we show affection to a qb who is helping a different team win games?
I have my doubts that Lynch is thinking "hmmm I'm going to sign cousins and NOT try to win a superbowl!!" But I also have my doubts that he's thinking "the only piece I'm missing is cousins to garcon!"

I wanted Peyton Manning but as soon as he signed with Denver, f-him.
Same with Cousins.

Just think if we got Manning. We would've had 2 super bowl wins at least.

Nonsensical question. What team WOULDNT add a veteran franchise QB?

So far, Peyton Manning & Tom Brady have been tossed in there w/ Kirk Cousins. No Aaron Rodgers?

Works out every time?

piss poor examples to backup your claim
Culpepper was already playing like crap before he went to Mia, McNabb was 34 when he went to Washington (which is about the same age Kirk would be when his deal would be up with us), Vick was never a good passing QB and couldn't stay healthy his whole career, Plummer had some of his best seasons in Den and took them to the playoffs 3 of the 4 yrs he was there, Garcia was already 34 when he moved on from SF, and Griese/Stewart were never good QBs to start with lol.
Only Culepper came even close to throwing up numbers like Kirk did last yr and and Dante did it with two HOF WRs.
Last I saw Alex Smith had KC in the playoffs 3 out of the 4 yrs he's been there.
this situation is unlike anything we've seen at the QB spot...Kirk is just starting to get into the prime of his career and has the most leverage I've ever seen a football player have, if he wants to play for Kyle for the next 4-5 yrs I'm all for it!! Any reasonable GM, fan, coach would agree.
