Mike was a bit lucky that when he went to the Broncos from the 49ers, there was a Hall of Fame QB waiting for him and his WCO system. I think the difference between father and son was that Father played QB and Son played WR. They have a different perspective on all the players from their respective playing backgrounds, is what I understood whey they coached together on the WTF football team.
A lot of players missing 1-3+ games and not going on official I.R. so I expect to be top 5 in AGL again this year.

Well, now we have to worry about losing to not only Seattle but also Cinn. We will miss you Deebo Warner Greenlaw and probably Ford
Funny story but Jeff Ferguson the last Niners head of training who is now with Jacksonville lives next door to my aunt in uncle in South Carolina. Has some wild stories about Shanny and co.
i forgot how long he was with the Niners before being let go. Someone has to be the scapegoat. One interesting story is that Kyle and co so not incorporate any live tackling. Harbaugh was much different too. Was like war at every practice.

Say whaaat? Is that some woke garbage to protect them? All it does is weaken them. Someone rein that dude in.

Typos up there should've been "did not" but that's widely known. Matty M and Papa talk about it too. It's very common though across the league. Lot of the newer coaches hardly do live tackling. Some take advantage of the limited numbers of times they can allowed by the league.

he didn't bash Kyle, just said the styles were drastically different. Ferguson is a sound and reputable guy. His brother I will say who I have met is a fkn trip! Dude can tailgate like no other. His setup at Clemson games is a site to see.

Really nice insight. Sounds wild.

Like I've been saying. Soooooooofffftttt.

You can watch 5 minutes of any practice and see that, 9 of 10 dudes just standing around, focused on the music, etc. It's the culture.

I agree, I think there is a certain *mental element* to the injuries, on top of - of course - the physical bodily injury itself.

My experience is (and this is clearly not scientifically based) but if you believe you will be injured, you will be injured. If you don't you won't (to a certain extent). Look at Gore and Rice (my two un-scientific examples) they work out *so hard* that they do believe that their bodies are not going to be injured. Now Rice got injured, the knee, but came back too fast and too strong, in a sense, but my point is that Rice had a long career. It's the same with Gore.

Players who take care of their bodies, and do everything they can to prevent injuries - **and believe** that have done so - I think are prone to less injury. (I'm again, approaching it from the mental side of it, not the physical side of it - like exercise, cardio, stretching etc...) but more from the mental belief side of things.

A (I think) is a good example of what I'm trying to illustrate from a **mental component** - to any injury or disease is the following:
https://noetic.org/science/spontaneous-remission-bibliography/
In 1993, the Institute of Noetic Sciences published Spontaneous Remission: An Annotated Bibliography. In this work, the authors, Caryle Hirshberg and the late Brendan O'Regan, defined spontaneous remission as "the disappearance, complete or incomplete, of a disease or cancer without medical treatment or treatment that is considered inadequate to produce the resulting disappearance of disease symptoms or tumor."
So for example Deebo gets a groin strain, whereas a guy like Hurd is out for the entire season. (or Dee Ford's weird back injury regressions) Nobody can explain it. They don't *intend* to get injured, they do everything to get well, they *desperately want* to get well but there is some sort of deeper mental component that affects said injury. What it is, I don't know, but I think it's worthy to look at it and explore it vs just ignoring it.
We're literally just bringing in injured players now and instantly putting them on I.R.
What's status on Ford? Didn't see him on injury report, but saw nothing about his status

They have signed two players to the practice squad that never practiced and ended up on IR in less than 48 hours each. Who is checking into these guys before signing.

Isn't the bringing the guy onto the PS the checking? If they were bringing these guys directly to the active roster I'd be upset over it, but the PS is peanuts to kick the tires on a player. If he deflates no biggie - you IR him and give him another shot in the offseason.
