Mostert is a god breakaway threat but we all know Shanahan has no problem cycling RBs,...just look @ last week without Mitchell (Wilson ran for 100+). We should go into the playoffs with a healthy Mitchell and Wilson.

Of those 3 Verrett is the real loss.

Just when we think we dodged a bullet with Shaair he now has a knee injury. Wow. His backup.....no not Greenlaw, he's injured too.....proceeded to commit a major PI to allow Tenn to extend their game winning drive.

Absolutely. JG only lost it mentally from the first pick and the team and KS could not compensate. It's like he never recovered from the SB capitulation.

injured players in key spots that are out this season cannot overcome the JG shortcomings. And it feels you can only say that after certain lossses since there are some good players helping us win against lowly teams.

I suppose if you dig deep enough there is cause to call this a lost season. You have highlighted that we would likely have our deep wounds exposed in the postseason.

Perhaps. I'd feel better if we were getting all of the rookies live snaps in preparation for next year.

Guys like Azeez, Mostert, Verrett, Jones, Eman, Tartt, etc. continue to get hurt so I feel no different now than i did then and I'm terrified to spend cap space on them because I can't ever count on them. Repeat cycle.

Does anyone know what the status of Shaair is? As always, injuries are ridiculously bad with the niners to key positions and the backups turned starters are costing us games.

If you only looked at the box score it look pretty bad but he played well. A lot of his runs were tackle for loss behind Los but when it collapsed and he saw nothing he cut it up field to get 1-3 yds each time. It was impressive. Rewatch the game
