Injuries piling up again, why do we have luck like this and teams like green bay manage to always stay healthy all the time

They've had Bahktiari hurt annually and he's supposed to be protecting Rodgers blindside
We are going to be hurt because through five weeks we've been playing a playoff style of football this early in the season.

We kinda have to as we don't have a 300ypg passer so we try and win in the trenches both sides of the ball and we play a physical brand of ball so our opponents know when we come in town it's a body bag game and sometimes we end up being carted off

Today I am faulting the turf a good bit though. Turf has to be abolished!

and there are those of us who are jerkoffs

Lol. It's like wet paint. You can't help it, just like the team can't help getting hurt at a mind numbing rate and is ranked just about the most injured team according to some medical dude. This week just added to that to maybe firm up the worst in the league.
As long as it doesnt end up like Custers last stand or the Alamo the team is winning so far, so it may not be a factor.

And you right about......
I don't know what the fuk it is with this team and injuries. I just don't. I get it, "inquires happen", "this is a violent game", . But will anyone actually argue that this is normal? I understand this is a deep team, what team on earth can withstand 8 starters down? At some point this will begin to catchup with us.

You know, George Kittle said something interesting about the league needing to be turf consistent. I think there may be something to this, and at the very least this deserves studying. But the league really needs to look into teams (like the 49ers) who are consistently at the top, or at the top, of the injury list. Every year, without fail, this team losses multiple key starters, and not just one or two, I'm talking four or five+.

Personally, I think there's something to Kittle's assertion. But I also think there's strong correlation between the reduced amount of practice and contact in practice, and injuries. But honestly, I cannot continue to think this is just dumb luck. At some point other questions have to be asked. I'm not implying anything nefarious. But something's not right that this team continue to suffer this level of injuries.
Just once in the Shanahan era I would like to see the team get through an entire year without losing one or two of their key players to injury. Moseley was playing at a really high level. Nice to have Verrett coming back but he's coming off his own ACL and based on past experience I have a hard time believing he'll make it through a whole year.

Mitchell out for a few weeks. Williams out for a few weeks. Jimmy Ward with broken hand and Bosa with groun injury. It just never stops.
The team is cursed when it comes to injuries. Someone in the organization has a bad aura. We need to root out this mysterious individual.

This would be too much to ask of any one person, but while I'm convinced no team has lost more starters due to injury than us, I'm not so sure if we are leading this category in 2022. We tend to be familiar with our own team but aren't as familiar with other squads.

If anything, this thread has become an argument for not only our injury trends, but also how well Kyle and John have built this team. Look at the Rams. They lose q couple of Oline and all of a sudden their offense can't function. Who knew. Mike McDaniel had to go to his 2nd and 3rd QB and his offense evaporated. Fascinating.

I did.
We need a sacrifice to the football gods. Maybe Rhule's job will do
EMMANUEL MOSELEY COME ON DOWN. YOU ARE THE LATEST VICTIM OF THE 49ERS FRONT OFFICE REFUSING TO ADDRESS THEIR LEAGUE LEADING INJURY PROBLEM.

WHAT IS THE DEFINITION OF INSANITY? DOING THE SAME THING OVER AN OVER AGAIN AND EXPECTING DIFFERENT RESULTS.
