Rams have run a country club the entirety of the McVay era.

Super frustrating being a fan of this team. Full strength they've been the best roster in the NFC over the past 4 years, but every year we have a slew of catastrophic injuries. It's just deflating knowing that regardless of how well they're doing, we should expect that they're going to lose 1/3 + of their pro bowl quality starters to long term or season ending injury at some point during the season. Jimmy Ward breaking his hand after 1 play is just the perfect encapsulation.

Kinda kills the "great conspiracy" narrative that pervades here after every injury, though.

This. It's hilarious how people say every team has injuries but they forget to point out that the people that are injured aren't even close to the level of talent or elite play as the 49ers. I have some Rams fan over here b***hing about their back up left tackle being injured for the year? He sucks anyway so the drop off is not much at all.

It would be like all of us b***hing about Lance when Jimmy Garoppolo isn't a huge drop off at this point in time.

Generally speaking, would you say that the 49ers have more talented players than other teams?
May or may not be relevant (chance of the latter being 99.98%), but Levi's might just be cursed (along with the nearby Mercado area on the Santa Clara/Sunnyvale border, the former Toys R Us in Sunnyvale, and a couple other areas I shudder to think about and will not name in this topic).

Jaquaski Tartt did an interview on 95.7 about a month ago and he stated that the 49ers practices were a lot harder and their TC was much more difficult than the Eagles TC. Not sure if that adds anything but it does show that we probably have a relatively difficult TC compared to other teams.

Interesting. Kendrick Bourne said just the opposite after going to the Pats.

Haha. True. Seattle too. They've been fined so many times for excessive hitting during practice trying to emulate live contact and football, etc.
