It spans numerous years, regimes, schemes, players FOs, medical staffs etc..,,so as MB mentioned in his piece, this predates anything currently in my place.
It's gotten absurd though, almost makes you not want to get invested because you hist know major injuries are coming

Totally agreed. This goes back well before Kyle and this current regime.

Historical AGL Ranks: Lower = Healthiest
2008 - 6th
2009 - 23rd
2010 - 4th
2011 - 8th (NFCCG)
2012 - 1st (Superbowl)
2013 - 23rd (NFCCG)
2014 - 26th
2015 - 26th
2016 - 24th
2017 - 23rd
2018 - 29th
2019 - 27th (Superbowl)
2020 - 32nd
2021 - 29th (NFCCG)

On September 14, 2014 the San Francisco 49ers played their first game at Levi's Stadium against the Chicago Bears.

I'll buy it. 2013 the veteran 9ers were physically broken and that era was over. Rebuild (literally) in 2014 and its been the Levi's curse ever since.
We should try putting our players in rice, I heard that helps.

Problem with that theory is that a lot of the worst injuries are in away games.
So a certain poster in here said the reason we're getting so hurt is because our TC off-season practices are "too easy" and we don't practice physical….well straight from a former players mouth that's literally the complete opposite of what is happening lol. Oops

He only played in two teams TCs his entire career. The other camp he played in has the leagues healthiest team though.
I've heard players both former and current say that the limited practices with pads and holding players out of preseason isn't letting players get in shape. Now I read that the NFL and players association are going to revisit the rules that limit practice.

Nobody knows why so many players are getting serious injuries but it's clearly a problem. It seems like every game I watch, at least one of the teams is missing one or more starting O linemen or a key defensive player. The players are too big. Too fast. Maybe not in the best shape. Or maybe years of using supplements to build bulk is finally catching up to these guys. Could be that the supplements while building bulk and strength are weakening ligaments, bones and joints. I seem to remember that during the steroid era in baseball, many doctors were saying that heavy use could cause more injuries.

I've heard complaints about artificial turf but there was a period back in the 70s and 80s when more teams had artificial turf and it was even worse than what they play on today. The players hated it because they would get rug burns but they weren't getting the serious injuries like today.

It was the curse moving away from Candlestick. The Football God's were not happy.

The City Council secretly brought in a witch doctor to put a hex on Jed York's team.

Makes as much sense as any other theory I have heard.

You're so late. That's a dude trying to get a job. Sooooooft. Go with Kendrick Bourne's opposite take and all the practice videos over the years. Sooooooft.

It's definitely a league wide issue either way. I fully agree.

Maybe bringing Harbaugh back this weekend will instill that health mojo again.

LMAO. That's a good one too. They hate the 49ers and the Yorks. Clearly.

NC can't even admit being wrong when an actual player who has nothing to gain (because he doesn't play for either team) says the opposite of what you have said without any actual evidence on your end.

What videos lol? You can't watch practices or film of training camp outside of like a couple Twitter clips lol. Dude it's okay to say you're wrong…it's not the end of the world.

Lol yup. Just his two cents on it and has nothing to gain from it either way…which is drastically different then what one person with absolutely no evidence suggests in here. But you know lizard people live in the center of the earth because I said so 😝

edit: ever watch Don't Look Up? Feel like that applies a lot in here football wise lol
