ZERO. all that talent is worth NOTHING when it constantly cannot play. so the "talented roster" argument is completely invalid.

How's Kramer doing?

Testing?
For those who constantly bash KS and Lynch and especially in regard to injuries and management of injuries, injuries in a violent sport like football is 110% luck base first and foremost just like the draft and even free agency where a need and upgrade, most of the time overrules risk and cost (drafting questionable or injury risk players or trading picks for proven vets, and most comes with a injury history else they probably wouldn't be on the trade block anyway), alots of other teams and bad GMs/Owners/HCs make bonehead moves and fail in this regard and the examples are countless and common in the NFL but the same rules to upgrade applies regardless.

There is probably truth in that 9er players do get alot more injuries due to the fact KS allow their vets to rest more and play less in the already now shorter preseason, but I think it is a strategy to keep injured players from playing right away until they fully recovered for the long haul as the season progress on when they really need these especially fundamental core players like Bosa for example (he probably could have play in ATL, but resting for bigger games and lesser chance of setbacks down the road was way more important but without Bosa it proves the 9er D wasn't up to par to slow down a mediocre team like ATL on offense and when the 9er offense can only score 14 without a strong running game which KS and Jimmy G relies on to produce on offense therefore CMC was brought in even though he only played 10 games in 2020-2021 but have shown now he is 100% healthy) or even Kinlaw coming back from knee surgery.. with competent QB play, Jimmy G, the 9ers had made it to the NFCC and SB, even with tons of injuries, for a reason, it comes down to injury management, obtaining, having available, upgrading and putting players to play at the right time coming off injury to contribute and help the team push deep into the playoffs and for SB runs, KS and Lynch have succeeded well so far aka strategically play with the hand you are dealt (injuries and setbacks included) and taking the best available options (draft, FA, trades, contracts) to succeed.

Also picking up CMC shows the team and their own players, they will upgrade at any position so if any player isn't up to par, they can be replaced and supplanted with someone better so every player better bring their A game if they're playing or if their number is called, next man up, same deal with drafting Trey to replace Jimmy but brought back Jimmy as the highest paid "backup" with incentives if Trey gets hurt all in the best interest of the team to win and make SB runs, KS and Lynch has done their job and done it right the best they can to be competitive and make deep playoff runs when they have at least a competent or better starting QB playing, which is the most fundamental and needed position in the NFL for wins and success.

I just read that helium is running low and it's a non renewable source. Why do we care? Because liquid helium is required for cooling on MRI machines. The NFL will be in big trouble if they can't do MRIs. Currently there is no good replacement for the helium.

That's a really nice post Chillin.

You bring up the caution used for Bosa (which we all agreed with) but what if C.Ward plays this weekend? That kind of goes against that strategy. They had Kinlaw, who out of the gate, got quite a few snaps with a known knee issue. He's now on I.R. AA was allowed to keep playing, like Kinlaw, knowing he had PF and naturally, reaggravates it and now he's probably done for the year as well.

This medical team seems to greatly struggle with even diagnosing an issue and with advice playing on found issue.

But to your point, that's just one aspect to this annual epidemic.

PS: I'm not challenging you here...just curious on your thoughts.

No kidding? I learn something every day.
Is Armstead probably done for the year like the McGlinchey being done for the year prediction?
