Our staff just doesn't inspire confidence. Head 49er athletic trainer says 6 months, actual doctors say 7 weeks for Jimmy. Wonder if Dustin also cleared Kinlaw as a draftable player, and wonder who we're listening to for Trey's 6 month broken ankle timeline.

2 things, I f**king hate this thread and two, it's funny how the Rams have been one of the most healthy teams during McVay's time there and look at this year. Like I said, luck does play some part in this.

How do you figure? If they beat us they could be the #3 seed.

A team that struggles to beat the Rams in December minus Matthew Stafford, Cooper Kupp and Aaron Donald isn't a contender.

Commanders are closer to a contender. At least they have a defense

Well the good news is you said they wouldn't be any competition to us and not win 8 games so it's good to know they're done for W's for the year!

Haha. Well, this thread (OP) teaches you that every team has that down year but typically bounce back the very next year. Except us and Washington who stay at the very bottom annually.

But to your point, the Rams formula ONLY works if everyone stays healthy because they are top heavy. One key injury and they are done. Not us. We are deep and used to playing under these circumstances, hence why we're still a playoff caliber team.

I think the 49ers and Chargers lose the most impactful starters every season.

Non of that even matters to Adam Rank. "The 49ers are a WAFFLEHOUSE stacked with talent."

That might actually be true!

Looks like theyll win more than that.

Also looks like the 9ers will win more than the 9 you predicted.

Odd to be more excited about Seattle Seahawk wins that 9er ones but to each his own
We have been a league of our own the previous 8 yrs when it came to injuries. Well, the wheel has turned, and even tho we are starting our 3rd Qb due to injury this yr, FTR…55 different QBs have started this yr due to injury to QBs ahead of them. 55! That seems incredible but there is a lesson to be learned here.

If that many starting qBs have been injured this yr, it no longer is just us. It also means if you have a SB talent team, then you darn sure better be ready to have a QB2 ready to play at the drop of a hat. Now, we know we better have a QB3 who can come in and win for you or your talented team gets wasted and down the drain it goes.

So be of good cheer, 49er fans…it ain't just us. Now it seems GMs, HCs, have to plan to have starter or rotational players at every position on both O and D. To date, i would say we have done exceptionally well along this road.

it used to be that the healthiest team with talent won the SB. Now that is changed to having the best talent with rotational players at all 22 positions if you want to even get a sniff of the SB.

Exactly. SF Wash and the Chargers are always decimated. The difference is the 49ers have the best depth AND roster in the NFL. No other team would lose 2 starting qbs by week 13

Excited? No, I'm just not ignorant. Seattle could just as easily win this division and the #3 seed as us especially now.

My 9-8 prediction was with Trey at the helm, not Jimmy+. If it was Jimmy, I'd have picked 11+.

As to the bold, that's all that matters! And I think they can/will.

Ignorant of what? There are 2 nfc teams that are gonna make the playoffs as wildcards that aren't very good overall. Seattle can't stop the run and are leaky on the back end. If they win the nfc west its because the 9ers blew it. Simple as that.

Couple weeks ago I said they'd win 11 (Back when they were 4-4) and you were sticking with your 9. Pretty sure Jimmy was the QB then.

if the 9ers struggled to the very end to beat the Rams minus Stafford, Kupp and Donald you would be destroying Kyle.

LOL. OK.

It's not like I don't hope you're right. I'm just not going to be ignorant to the idea Seattle could just as easily win the NFCW esp. now. We play 3 straight NFC playoff teams against 2 great defenses and 1 that plays like one up in Seattle every time we play them. And oh yeah, we're on our 3rd QB. LOL

I stand by my assessment. Hawks are nowhere near an NFC contender.
