Sums it up perfectly.....we were so f**king lucky to have Bill as our leader/teacher. He was decades ahead of his time. It's so much more than just an offense. Nothing would make me happier, than just capturing the essence of our culture again.

Who is the Broco #1 QB right now. Is it Trevor 'I am not a primate' Siemian? Do they still have Paxton Lynch?

Semen is their guy, but I'm sure they would rather have Lynch win it because they spent a 1st on him.
Honestly I would prefer Foster just get a handful of plays and rest that Shoulder. I'd rather see him get more snaps next week in the dress rehearsal game 3. Give him another week to get over the AC Joint issue. Let Ray Ray and Skov play to let Foster heal up.

I'd much rather see him healthy week 1 and get a real Pick in a game that means something.

The patrons at work have pissed me the f**k off today. This game is my light at the end of the tunnel. Getting a six pack of good beer, good food(still debating), and going to sit my happy on the couch and watch a good amount of interesting position battles.

Those homos. 49ers are life.

Just a reminder on who to watch closely tonight.

Players to hone in on for next game 1) what unit they line up with and 2) overall effectiveness

These players are right on the bubble of moving up a unit, down and/or making the 53:

QB: C.J. Beathard & Matt Barkley
RB: Tim Hightower & Matt Breida
TE: Logan Paulsen, Garrett Celek & Cole Hikutini
XWR: Victor Bolden Jr.
ZWR: DeAndre Smelter, Kendrick Bourne & Tim Patrick
LOT: Darrell Williams Jr.
LG: Erik Magnuson
ROT: Gary Gilliam

LDE: Ronald Blair
NT: Quinton Dial
RDT: Chris Jones
SAM/ER: Eli Harold, Dekoda Watson & Pita Taumoepenu
MIKE: Brock Coyle
RCB: Keith Reaser
S/CB: Will Redmond
FS: Lorenzo Jerome, Adrian Colbert, Don Jones II & Vinnie Sunseri

PR/KOR:Victor Bolden & Trent Taylor; Jeremy Kerley

Great post, and just an addendum to that. The very fact that they are playing means they *earned* the right to play with good practice reps. It's my understanding that under the ShanaLynch regime if you don't practice well, you will not be allowed to play in pre-season, so in addition to watching who plays, also watch the guys who *don't* play - and that will be an indication of whether they are going to stick or not.

Perfectly said!

NFL Network is not going to be showing the 49ers/Broncos game. Pisses me off, I wanted to see it in HD.

I live in Chico, CA about 200 miles north of SF. They're re-airing the game on Sunday, so I'll be able to see the game again in HD.

How do you know Semen is a guy?

I made a list of 5 guys I was looking to watch against the Chiefs (Witherspoon, Thomas, Armstead, Williams and beathard) if my memory serves me right. For this game I'm looking out for:

Rashard Robinson - Looking for more discipline and consistency.
CJ Beathard - Good performance last week. Will play against Denver's 2s this week. Excited to see his progression.
Erik Magnuson - According to PFF played very well. I think Magnuson could make the 53, being able to play C and OG.
Solomon Thomas - he needs reps and id love to see him make a big play or two.
Kendrick Bourne - Made some big plays last week and is battling for a spot on the 53.
Not sure of the changeover from last week but here's last weeks roster
