Who cares? As long as the Niners show steady improvement over the year and end up with 6 wins or better, I would be happy.

Worse than the Jets and Browns? The ESPN staff has been hitting the crack pipe hard. But preseason power records are stupid any ways. They are about as accurate as a blind man playing darts.

We've improved in every area except possibly the secondary (which wasn't our biggest issue last year). ESPN smoking something.

One thing i will admit is the NFL probably is at an all time competitive level and the gaps are really small. I think moving up or down 10 spots can be easy within a couple weeks.

I want to agree with you BUT I thought we improved in every area last season too and look how that turned out.

I dont agree. Roster wise that is.
I mean lets talk Chargers,Bills,Jags,Bears,Foreskins,
Browns,Jets,Dolphins,Colts,Titans,Saints,Cards,Panthers,Lions.
Can you say any of those teams will for sure go better than 8-8?
