Yup...and those weren't little holds. They held Tank for 3+ seconds and ripped AA right in plain view at a critical time of the game. One was on 3rd down. That doesn't mean we didn't have our chances but that's another topic.
Just for the stats: we are not talking about the first holding during the 3&1 shown on the previous page, do we?

Correct...it too was on that TD drive where once again, AA broke into the backfield and was chasing Wilson out of the pocket... the OL grabs him, holds and rips his jersey down which prompted AA to throw his arms up in disgust. No call.

you're right. it's his teammates and is the stadium's fault.

at least the other team's MLB can though
Johnnydel, i was under the impression that we kept hoyer out there so CJ can learn the ZBS, stay healthy, not be subjected to awful OL blocking, not get depressed that nothing works right, yada , yada. But your simple statement kind of made me rethink that along with your terrific gifs. Just in these few examples, dang, he looked AWFUL . Maybe you are right that if he continues like this much longer , we may see CJ, a lot earlier than we had planned, even tho most of us want him to sit most of the yr. He did get spared the panthers and SEA at home .. Maybe that is all the reprieve CJ gets. These gifs tell an ugly, ugly tale.

still, Marquise sure didn't help hoyer out and those were two big, big catches...that weren't . Then Au Jus in game 1, right between the two 4s, an on down the line. The pitch and catch concept doesn't seem to be taking hold. And no TDs in 21 series? Double ouch. And you were right on the OL....they played a lot better than i had thought. Thanks for all your work, JD.

Haven't seen Flynn play, Giedi, so have to wait on that. Williams is an OT, but did i read somewhere he played OG also? Both good ideas but those two guys are still pretty far out to be ready anytime soon. Magnus OTOH, looked ready in PS, TC...but i don't know if that was against 2s, 3s and 4s or 1s. If it was the latter, then that may be what is keeping kyle from starting him. Getting Laken and then getting him serviceable was a feat in and of itself. Magnus may be a bit harder. Who knew OGs and C would be as hard to get as OTs? I suppose that is a seasonal thing, but wow it was hard this year. If we somehow pulled off Magnus and Flynn boht working out this yr, despite the W/L, the yr would be success.

Just reading up more on the zone blocking system, I can see more agile and quick o-linemen working better in this system than the power-blockers like Iupati or Boone. Guys like Charles Barkley basketball types. Not really strong but quick and agile and just strong enough to make it difficult for defensive linemen to get around his block. All the Olineman needs to do in this zone run system is to delay him to give that cutback RB the lane he needs to explode through the line. I don't think it will be difficult to get those in the next off season cycle.

From what I remember on the TD pass play, we had two defenders collide in the pocket and help RW to escape.

If someone could post this still pic, that would be great. How the hell does that little hobbit get out of this forest...again.

Thank you...at this very moment, you can see Russell Wilson praying to be delivered from his people's slavery in Egypt, moved across the Sea of Lands End, and delivered to the Promised Land.

the fvck? I see Armstead colliding with Dumervil who had Willow in sight until Armstead tackled his own player
I wonder if Armstead's peripheral vision is bad.

I get people like to hate AA right now but he blew by his dude so fast that was a nice move. Unfortunately for us Dumervil blew right by his dude too
This is the point that AA defenders fail to appreciate. Blowing past his guy is not enough. It's nothing if he can't track the ball carrier, let alone stop from running off his teammate about to make a sack.
