There was a Raiders and Seahawks jersey buried in the concrete when Levi's was constructed....Jed was too cheap to dig it out.

Nothing new. It's been this way since the move to Levis when Jed priced out all of the real fans.

Plus the cost of going to games is so much these days most people go for the social event part of it and have no interest in what's happening on the field.
It sucks and I hate that this fanbase is so fuking irrational for the most part.
Actually tickets are really cheap right now. Just that even $50 to go sit in the heat and watch a s**t football team isn't exactly what people want to do these days.
I'm not even going to blame casual fans.
I mean forget about SB level. This team isn't even 8-8 level, aka mediocre. I'd be shocked if they win 4 games.

It's well known we have one of the biggest fairweather fanbase in the league. We've all seen our stadium look like Lambeau or Pitts whenever their teams come to play.
Sad that such a s**tty fanbase (myself included) gets a s**tty stadium to go alongside it.

wifi fried all of the season ticket holder's brains. They don't even know how to find the stadium.

Man I was at the game yesterday sitting in the lower section and it was hot AF but I was still chanting and yelling for no reason. These new silicon valley corporate fans are worthless. Can't even stand up and cheer without anyone looking at you weird. They just want to sit down and stare at their phones while casually watching the game quietly.
What a miserable day it was yesterday in the heat. Would have been less complaints if we were actually playing decent. Yes, some were in the shade but I've never been able to get out of traffic so fast and was literally home in downtown San Jose within 20 minutes from leaving Blue Lot 1. Empty stadium
I thought it was hilarious watching all the fans pass out on the side of the road trying to find their cars in the parking lot. Damn techies.

Biggest problems with Levi's is the location and corporate fan base that it's gained and in the process alienated the faithful that used to go. I guess all part of the Jed plan.

why would they come to watch this putrid product, there is a real disconnect with the fans and regime. there is a serous lack for whatever reason of the blue collar fans who would go to the stick. but then it goes back,. to give them something worth watching

Fans didn't show up to Candlestick in the mid-00s, either. There's a reason the wine and cheese criticism is decades old. If a product is not that great on the field then fans will seek other entertainment, especially on days where one needs to tough it out under the sun. This is California where there are plenty of entertainment options.

Everything goes back to Eddie D f**king it all up. His stadium was gonna be badass, was gonna have a state of the art, built-in shopping mall + theater to prevent fans from leaving too soon to beat traffic.

Why would rich techies even waste their time of day going to these games anymore? Rich techies are only going to go if there is a football product actually worth seeing. Not this trash heap.
