I could've had my buddy's club seats and green lot 1 parking pass, all for free....told him thanks but no thanks, no desire to waste my Sunday driving, parking, baking in the sun to watch this team lay an egg. Gotta say, good call on my part.

Great fan you are

lol hes clearly not a 49ers fan. Free club seats to opening Sunday of a new, promising era, and he's worried about heat, and his personal time?

I've been to many games in club, yeah they're nice but nothing spectacular, not wasting my Sunday when I'd rather go watch my kids' games.

You dont have to defend yourself. I would go see my kids games too over the Niners. Let's face it. They aren't fun to watch whether its in person or on TV. I was a season ticket holder for many years in the 80s and 90s and it was a blast. But now? Not so much.

Cept he was using the 49ers ineptitude as the reason he didn't go. If his kids had something going on, he wouldn't have gone even if we were a SB contender and it was 68 degrees out.

Oh I'm sorry, did you need an exhaustive delineation of every factor influencing my decision to not go? Traffic, hot, sh**ty team...those things do not make it worth my entire Sunday and skipping my kids' events.

And as I said, if the product on the field improves, that could change my decision in the future, as it has in the past when the aforementioned were worth putting up with to see an actual competitive NFL team.

nope, wrong per usual EBGC (East Bay Gilroy County)
If they were still in San Francisco and not s**tty Santa Clara, that place would be packed.

This is not the mindset of an unconditional fanbase that cares and wants to make a difference.

Why didn't you go?

Bruh cuz I'm a broke college student with no transportation. I still go and cheer my crappy college team in the blazing sun though.

Work dude. I did when I went to college. Tickets are cheap. Take public transit. Be a real fan. You're the reason the stadium is empty. Don't be a soft ass millennial.

Reading comprehension is a wonderful thing when one possess it. For the litany of reasons I've noted, it was not worth it to me to waste my Sunday in Santa Clara when I could watch in my comfortably cool home on a big TV...AND still attend two different events for my kids.

See how that works? It's not JUST my kids, it never has been, I've gone to many games before where I DID choose to spend my Sunday at the game. Anyone capable of the slightest bit of discernment understands every game day isn't the same set of circumstances, sometimes it's worth the hassle and possibly foregoing family events, while other times it is not. It seriously is a rather remedial concept, not at all difficult to grasp.

49ers hiring architectural firm look at ways to improve fan experience. I'm guessing looking into shade options or better cooling has to be a priority.

Jed figured out people aren't gonna sit in 100 degree weather lol

Are they going to get people from the Panthers to hold the shade things over the heads of fans? Lol
Sounds like all the b***hing about the heat finally got to Jed York. BTW our next home game is on TNF and after that we won't be back home until Oct.22nd. Some of you can't handle 1 hot game a year lol
