Should have taken the heat into consideration when designing the stadium. Typical jed

Lazy ass Jed

@timkawakami: Part of the problem is that this was originally the design for the new stadium at Candlestick and they just moved it to Santa Clara.

Sounds like all the b***hing about the heat finally got to Jed York. BTW our next home game is on TNF and after that we won't be back home until Oct.22nd. Some of you can't handle 1 hot game a year lol
all the squeaky wheels will not go to the games still and find something else to squeak about

Why waste money on a new design.

this is exactly why I said it was poor design. The stadium was built to take in that breeze from the ocean. So the temperature wouldn't have been a problem at all in SF.

so I don't get it.

Are you saying that if Levis was built in SF, it would be just as hot as it would be in Santa Clara? Or that there is constant breeze in Santa Clara cooling it down?

There's like zero breeze in Santa Clara, that's why people are complaining.

oops thought you were talking about the Stick design. my mistake. I don't think the new stadium design works in SF as it already windy and the large openings on the sides of the suites would not block any wind

now it being is SC it was made to be open. We had wind/Breeze in our face the whole time and in the concourse its noticeably cooler than the seats in the sun (if you have seats in the sun)
