Like someone mentioned, I'll take cold over heat at a game any time. Too many people pressed together makes it even warmer.
I've been to games at Sun Devil Stadium prior to the recent renovations, both when the Cardinals were playing and ASU. They had some pretty f**king hot games there, 100+ degree temperatures, sitting in a big concrete bowl, just baking, especially in certain parts of the stadium. Those experiences were pretty wild.

They will probably have to basically refrigerate the cement with a radiant cooling system of some sort. Opposite of floor radiant heat.

According to: http://www.covers.com/pageLoader/pageLoader.aspx?page=/data/nfl/results/2017-2018/boxscore67660.html, the attendance was 70,178.
Seems like tickets are being sold but not many people are actually going.

I thought it was good planning to make the seats all red so it sort of blends with all the 49er jerseys and when the camera is panning makes it look like there are more people there then there actually are.

The people are there but are watching the games inside the club areas or in the shaded standing room only spots

exactly. They might be standing near the concession areas in the back near the shade. You can still easily see the field from that angle. There's almost zero reason for you to be in your seat, ever, if I'm just being honest.

I lived In AZ 1988-1992 & went to games there also! f**king hot!
I was at the game yesterday at Levi's and it was definitely hot. But I was on the home side so I did have shade. I can see it being miserable sitting on the east side with the sun beating on you the whole game.

Lol the Yorks, these guys can't get anything right. They built a $1.3 billion dollar stadium and didn't think of these problems? Or is it that they just don't give a Sh**.

Yup I had suites a couple times and didn't stay in it. Best place to watch anything in that stadium is the handicap areas outside the club level bars.

I think they built a stadium, not a football stadium. Football and football fans were not high on their priority list.

Miami renovation
i wouldn't mind something similar, as we have to huge openings on the sides of the suite tower
