Lol at all the people that say that all the real fans have been priced out

Just a ridiculous claim that at no point in time held water.

nobody wants to go cuz they suck and even worse are boring.

Yep. Has absolutely nothing to do with price.

I thought there was a study done that showed only about 3% of NFL fans have attended a game in person? Mainly because of location of stadiums and cost.

Seems to me like bay area fans don't want to travel south and pay any amount. lol

you put a putrid product on the field you will get what you get in the stands. we keep being told it will get better and its part of the plan but in reality this crap we have seen in the last three years does not deserve support
It sounds like the fans are there...just taking cover from the heat? Twitter pics of hoards of fans seeking shelter. CA late arriving fanbase as always. 60-grand+ at the home opener.

Tonight? We'll see if they red it (or black it) out tonight. LOL...get it?

Well Jed doesn't really care who shows up. Technically all the seats have already been paid for so it still shows a sell out in the books.
lol

Last year they posted 102% of all seats sold. lol

The 60K+ was based on the # of fans who actually walked into the stadium.

Now, 90% could be the other teams fan base. LOL

Nah. Bad teams = low attendance, regardless of weather. Will those that attend stay in their seats more since the sun won't be beating down on them? Maybe. But probably only if there's a lot of "action" (re: points) in the 1st quarter.

yes the place had tons of people just hiding underneath. Guys online and the Internet are just talking s**t right now. It is what it is. We will see if people show up tonight after an 0-2 start.

Many Candlestick season ticket holders were priced out.

Seems to be a sun/heat problem:

I am not sure what difference that makes. The fans are watching in sports bars or milling around the concourse, they may as well be at home.

Of course it makes a difference. All the high horse fans that are b***hing about how no one went are absolutely wrong.

I meant in regard to optics and crowd presence. We will see how many are there tonight in 65 degree weather.
1. Alienate season ticket holders with PSL's- Check
2. Price tickets out of reach of anyone with a family of four making median income- check
3. Have seats purchased by local tech companies who truly do not care for live football- check
4. Make the stadium not a good place to tail gate to get the fans out early- check
5. Have limited parking and public transit that is sub par- check
6. Charge $13.50 for a frickin beer- check
7. Move from SF to Santa Clara- check X 2
8. Have your starting qb's be the following
Brian Hoyer- check
Colin Kaepernick-check
Blaine Gabbert-check
JT O Sullivan
Shaun Hill
Trent Dilfer

9. Build a stadium where you overpromise and underdeliver- check
10. Fire a winning coach- Harbaugh- check
11. Have 3 head coaches in 3 seasons- NFL record- check
12. Screw the city of Santa Clara on shared revenue- check
13. Take away soccer fields from Kids- check
14. Draft DL three years in a row when the team still does not have a qb.....

Yeah I cannot figure out why the stadium is empty
Nobody likes to watch an unexciting team - win or lose. I dont think people are desperate to see Brian Hoyer and Goodwin. The QB and Wide Receiver talent on this team is absolute sh*t. This is no different than aTrent Baalke patched up offense. We're not there yet. We have to wait until next year's draft and do a major overhaul on our passing game talent.

LOL...goal posts moved.

But yeah, we'll see if the Faithful show up in full by 2Q (it is a CA crowd).

I do not think I moved the goal posts. What difference does it make?
They were there but hiding? Come on, even if that were fact it doesn't matter. The fans aren't cheering and the stands look empty.
