What a bust Jed's stadium is turning out to be. Thought he would sell out every game just because they are the Niners.

I live in Sacramento and I use to see Lakers stuff from time to time at the beginning of the decade. Fast forward to today and I cannot tell you the last time I saw someone with laker gear. It's all warriors here. Same goes for baseball. Of course giants reign supreme but you have your occasional "die hard for 2 years" dodger fan with a brand new hat.

If you think about it, if you do see fans repping other teams from outside the states, they're all winners: Patriots, Red Sox, Yankees, Celtics, Steelers, Cowboys, (they're not winners but they're wellknown), Packers.... It's rare do you see someone rocking teams like the Browns, Wizards, Pirates, etc...I'll give you the best example: Seattle. The first question you ask a seahawk fan is why do they like the Seahawks? They reply they are from there. However, i see NO ONE in california wear Mariners gear. Arent' they from Seattle? They are, but they're losers; therefore, no one is going to rock their gear. And I bet my left nut if that they ever win a world series or two, you'd start seeing Mariners fans in their new gear popping up.

So I dont know if it's a nor cal thing or it's an american thing. But it's rare do you see fans of losing teams be represented where I'm at. It's only the winning teams you see their merchandise being flashed.

I was at the game last night and it was loud especially in the 4th quarter even when half the crowd had left. Haters will say it's not true

funny, I thought people were complaining it was empty before the game started?
Are they getting a bit paranoid? I don't go to the games, so I'm unsure. I keep seeing photos (as well as TV crowd shots during the game) showing Levi's as being far from sold out, yet the Team shows both home games as having the same high Attendance figure for both home games - 70,178.

http://thebiglead.com/2017/09/22/rams-49ers-attendance-was-over-70000-that-should-quiet-that-silly-empty-nfl-stadium-narrative/

I'm guessing that number is Ticket sales and giveaways as opposed to actual attendance. "Official Capacity" is 68.000 expandable to 75,000.

What's going on?

I can confirm that this is true, it was surprisingly loud in there late in the game.
There was approximately 30,000 fans who wore their hallween costumes early. They dressed up as "empty seats."

A very expensive costume for PSL holders.

early photos never give a good snapshot. I live in San Jose. Traffic on the highway is a f**king nightmare. Even if you want to go to a 5:25PM game, you are not going to make it on time. That is basically when the rush hour is at its worst. So I wouldn't be surprised if people arrived late.

To make it on time, you'd either have to be unemployed or ask your boss to take a day off for the day. Get in early at the tailgate around 2PM or something when traffic is light. Lot of people don't have that luxury.

At the Stick you had none of these problems I guess. I assume people in SF just used the bus to get around. I always had to drive up there myself.

The stadium will fill when this team is good again. That's it.
why doesn't the nfl have one friday night game a week?
I know high schools have theirs blah blah blah but the atmosphere would be pretty fun on a friday night?

NFL will never do anything that will hurt their lifeline -- high school and college football.

The NFL needs to stop watering down the product and axe thursday games
