**THE OFFICIAL ''REFEREES SCREWED US '' THREAD 2017/18 EDITION

I've been stating for years that the NFL should just take all of the refs off the field, put them in the booth, give them a specific area of the field to look at, give them all the replay angles they need, and call it even. Most refs get screened out of the play on the field. From the booth, they will be able to see much better. Perhaps more importantly though, give the teams the option of questioning the call... Give the final decision to a third party ref. Also, allow the refs to pick up a flag if they look at the replay and realize it was a bad call.

Just ridiculous that a league with this much money can't get calls right. The Niners have had their share of terrible calls (NFC Championship against Seattle was such a joke that someone put out an entire video on youtube on the awful calls, and the non calls in the Super Bowl against Baltimore...just pathetic). Still, lots of teams get bad calls. What I've noticed is that the refs tend to give the benefit of the doubt to the more aggressive team. That is why they didn't flag Seattle consistently for years, even though that was one of the dirtiest, filthiest teams in the NFL...and I'm not even talking about Sherman.

NFL....get your act together! Rant off.

Most of the penalties were earned. So undisciplined. But yes a league wide issue with officials is a problem. Horse collar and PI catchable were BS.

Some self righteous ref, wasn't he informed that the name of the game is to keep it close so people keep watching and purchase whatever is being advertised. This ref is messing with the economy fire him. It's entertainment, when they keep calling fouls it's no longer entertainment.

I understand homefeild advantages you get your home crowd and a familiar field to play on. But this week going to the Chiefs game live and the calls I got to see live was just nuts. They all should just had KC hats on. That last Penalty in the N zone to pull us with in 4pts the ref had his hand on it like he was getting ready to draw down in a gun fight. Listening to Serius NFL radio today and they even mentioned calls on all teams that are Away.

Yeah I hear you, definitely seems like every big call or non call goes against the niners since the non call on Crabtree in the Super Bowl lol but not much to do or say, it's life..

Coaches and players need to start socking these refs right in their mouth's

Man just watch this MNF game. Some serious bad officiating at times

Normally I would agree with you but even Chiefs fans are admitting we got hosed...
